Chapter 20

(Bakugou's pov)

"What is it Pinky?" I asked, leaning against the door frame.

"Can I come inside?" She asked.

"Tch, no. And I'm not in the mood for one of those drama sessions if that's what this is about," I grunted, beginning to close the door on her.

She quickly shoved her foot in the middle of the doorway, preventing me from shutting it.

"This is serious," she replied, staring at me intensely.

I thought back to the fact Deku was currently locked in my bathroom and then I though about what Mina had just said. 'This is serious.'

Although I knew it was risky letting her in, curiosity got the best of me.

"Fine, whatever, but make it quick!" I commanded, opening the door for her.

She skipped inside and made herself comfortable on my bed. I rolled my eyes, taking a seat opposite her -at my desk chair.

"What is it then?" I questioned, hunching over the chair, elbows to my knees, hands underneath my chin.

"Please don't freak out when I ask this, but it's a genuine question.." she began.

I tapped my foot impatiently. 'Freak out?'.

".. is there something between you and Midoryia, like.. in a romantic sense."

My jaw dropped, practically hitting the ground. Out of everything Mina could've asked and it was this.

I barely understood what was going on between me and Deku myself, how was I supposed to answer this?

"I- why.. what.." I stuttered, but each word was slurred as my thoughts frantically paced.

"Just, yous have been getting noticeably close and I guess.. well.. I know it's a big assumption but I just thought-"

"Yes," I confessed, biting my tongue.

"Yes? Yous are a thing?" She questioned, her eyes sparkling.

I looked away, reframing from making any eye contact with her. God, what am I saying? Deku's literally in the room next to us!

"Oh my god. OH MY GOD!" she exclaimed.

"Shut it!" I commanded.

She slapped a hand over her mouth and nodded.

"Don't you dare tell another soul about this. What is said in this room stays in this room, got it!" I threatened.

"The thing is.. Ururaka is the one who mentioned this. Her and Tsu are actually on their way to ask Deku the same thing now.." she replied, sheepishly.

"They what," I muttered, gritting my teeth as my eyes twitched.

That's when something from my bathroom yelped: Deku. You have got to be kidding me. I glanced up at Mina, looking to see if she heard the damn nerd, and to my fear, she did.

"What was that?" She asked, her head snapping to look at my bathroom door.
I let my face collapse into my palm as I rubbed the bridge of my nose.

...

"Deku," I coughed.

Thats when a large grin spread across her mouth. "Were yous just making out?" She smirked.

"What! No! Stupid! Why would you even think that?" I yelled.

"Come one Bakugou. Deku's getting blowjobs, you're getting handjobs, I wonder what else yous get up to," she smirked evilly.

I ignored her, getting up to open the bathroom door, causing Deku to stumble out of it. "K-Kacchan," he stuttered, looking between me and Racoon eyes.

I rolled my eyes turning back to Mina.

"Tell Round-Face and Miss Riberty that I said no to whatever you were supposed to ask. When they come around to ask Deku, he'll also deny it," I told the two.

"Okay," she grinned, putting  her thumbs up.

"Kacchan, I don't know if I can lie like that," Deku mumbled, scratching his neck.

"You better learn to," I grunted, escorting Mina out of my room.

"That's not how you talk to your lover," Mina grimaced, leaning against my door frame.

I quickly looked up and down the hallway, seeing if anyone was there to hear what had just come out of her mouth. Seeing that no one was there, my eyes switched back to pinky giving her a glare.

Her smile only grew wider as she whispered "you better tell me everything," and with that, skipped down the hallway -to the elevator.

I slammed the door, leaning against it, once closed.

(Deku's pov)

I watched as Kacchan leaned against his door, rubbing his temples. "I'm sorry Kacchan," I mumbled, staring at the ground.

"Sorry?" He repeated, in question.

"I gave myself away," I continued, referring the noise I had made in the bathroom.

"No, I'm the one who let her in," he replied, rolling his eyes before making his way back to his bed, grabbing the comic he was previously reading.

"In a way, it's a good thing she caught us together -at least we know what to expect," I chuckled.

"Yeah, yeah," he muttered, throwing me a pillow to put behind me. I placed it behind me, leaning back onto it and then grabbed the comic I was previously reading.

Kacchan took that all surprisingly well. I mean, just minutes ago he got defensive from me calling him gay and now he has just admitted that there's a thing between me and him -well, some sort of romantic connection.

But now that I really think about it, from that conversation, Kacchan and Mina seemed pretty close. It didn't take him long to answer her question, truthfully: if it was anyone else he definitely would have blown a fuse -from what I've seen at least.

It was almost refreshing, seeing Kacchan talk to people without each word being yelled or shouted. It makes me thing that the way Kacchan usually talks to people is just a front. In comparison to how he had just talked to Mina compared to anyone else he's talked to, there's a large difference in how he spoke.

"Oi, quit the mumbling," Kacchan ordered, interrupting my intense conversation with myself.

"Sorry," I blushed, shoving my face into the pages of the comic I held.

Although I couldn't see his face, as mine was currently buried in a comic, I heard Kacchan laugh from across the bed. Hearing that sound, even if it was only for a second, made my heart flutter.

I'd like to hear him laugh more often.
