Cana's Modern Day Love Story

Fairy High Chapter 1

Cana was not new to the school and let alone the students of the high school called Fairy High. Cana had a few selective friends that she could honestly trust. Cana promised her friends that maybe she'll finally get lucky and meet someone that would catch her interest. She got out of her car and locked it. She walked down the sidewalk and opened the doors of her school. She walked down the long hallways and entered the cafeteria. The noise was booming as if a bass of a car was playing. She then spotted her closes friends; Lucy Redfox, Rai Redfox, and Erza Scarlet. She walked over to them; today her clothes were a red tank top, jeans, converses, and a leather jacket. She was also wearing a silver necklace and stud earrings. Her friend Lucy was wearing her cheerleading uniform since there was game for the football players. Rai was wearing a white shirt and jeans. Erza was wearing a black tank top, black jeans, high heel boots and a leather jacket. Cana sat down next to her best guy friend Rai. "Hey Rai and Lucy and Erza." They all said hey all together; she smiled softly as they did it.

Cana had no clue what to expect today other then the usual boring classes of Math, English, History, and Science. The bell went off at the time 8:00 AM and so she grab her bag and headed to her first class of Math. Cana never cared for Math only because she wasn't good at it like her other friends. She always felt bad for asking Lucy to help her in Algebra 1. Cana went to her locker and grab her books and walked to the classroom, where her teacher Mr. Kyle was standing and waited for her to take her seat. Cana quickly went to her seat and sat down. Mr. Kyle then firmly spoke up "Today we will be learning about algebraic expressions. Can anyone figure out this equation? Cana? Can you tell me how to solve x+ 17= 52." Cana looked up at the board and started to figure that X= 35. She then spoke up "X= 35 Mr. Kyle." Mr. Kyle nods "Very good Cana, now pay attention." The teacher went on to teaching and the bell rings after he assigned the homework that is due tomorrow. Cana got up from her seat and headed to her locker again and grab her English book since it was her next class and it was with the bitch of the school Emily. Cana never liked Emily that much only due to the fact she tries to beat her in everything, no matter what it is. Cana went down the stairs and went down the hallway and into the English room and sat in her seat. Mrs. McGongall is the English teacher and Cana actually got along with her unlike Mr. Kyle and Mr. Snape. She considered them the most evil teachers in the school. Mrs. McGongall told the class that today we would be reading Hamlet and the whole class groaned. Cana knew this would be one long play to read.

Mrs. McGongall asked if any of us wanted to start the play and I raised my hand before Emily. Cana started to read the story. By the time she finished her part the bell rang and she stood up. Emily had a scowl on her face and Lucy noticed it. Lucy walked over to Emily before she reached Cana. Lucy then started to tell her off and walk away. Cana couldn't help but smile and she followed her friend out the room. "Thanks Lucy for sticking up for me." Cana spoke softly. Lucy looked at her friend "Not a problem Cana, she had it coming any way." Cana smiled even more "What did you say to her any way?" Lucy grinned even more "I told her that she ever touched or talk or looked at you in the wrong way, my gang friends will kill her. Long and painful death which shut her up." Cana started to laugh when they caught up to Rai. Rai smiled as he seen his girlfriend Lucy and his best friend Cana. Rai spoke "Hey Lucy and Cana, what's new?" Lucy smiled as she looked at her boyfriend "I told the bitch Emily off because she was going to say something to Cana, but no worries she won't any more."

Rai wrapped his arms around Lucy and kisses her. "I'll leave you two love birds alone." Cana spoke and walked away and walked to her locker and grabs her Science book and heads to his class. Mr. Snape was making sure everything was ready to go for the lesson today. Cana walked in and went to her assigned seat next to Rai's desk. Shortly after Rai, Lucy, and Erza walked in for class. Mr. Snape walked to the front and stood still. "Good Morning class, today we will be working on mixing certain chemicals. Do not screw this up, it's 30% of your grade. Make the wrong move and you could be setting off lethal gases. Follow the instructions. Now get to work." Mr. Snape sat down after he spoke and she went to her station. Emily was in the back thinking of a way to get back at Cana and her group of friends. Emily then accidentally put in the wrong chemical and the beaker breaks and gases go into the air. Mr. Snape gets up from his seat and pulls the fire alarm and tells the students to get out quickly. Cana and her friends get out quickly with the rest of class and goes outside of the school. Principal Duncan comes out and asks who put the wrong chemical in their beaker. Emily slowly raised her hand and the principal told her to come with him and she followed him shortly after.

Cana and the rest of the school went back in and went back their classes. After 15 minutes later the bell rings and her and her friends headed to lunch. She was actually hungry. They all got in line and grab trays. Lucy always got a salad like Rai does. Erza usually grabs the pizza and I normally got the tacos that they had for lunch. Cana and her friends paid for their lunches and went their normal sports. They all started to eat when the principal came over the announcements. "We will be having an exchange student come in tomorrow, please make him feel welcome. His name is Rogue Cheney. He is coming all the way from England. That is all, thank you." He got off the speakers and everyone started to talk in quick whispers. Shortly after lunch we went to history and and gym. The bell rang at 3:30 PM and Cana headed to her car and and drove home. She started on her homework that was assigned and went to bed.
