It was dull. Life before him was dull. Spending day after day in a constant cycle of; study, eat, sleep, repeat. Sasuke studied until his eyes got heavy, ate meals prepared by fear-filled maids while engaging in strained banter with his perfect family, and fell asleep to thoughts of life without routine.
He did other things, of course, he is the secondary heir to the Uchiha Family fortune after all. Exercise and training to maintain his physique, business conferences with his father for experience, parties with his mother to scout for a partner, swimming, tennis, therapy, golf, grooming, student council, FLA (future leaders association), business certification, this, that, this, that, this, that.
A routine so flawless its no longer a routine but a program. And Sasuke was a machine. A monster of his parent's creation. No emotions. No friends. No love. Speak with authority. Head held high. Strong eye contact. Command never ask. Clan first. Bear the Uchiha name proudly. The Uchiha name...bear...proudly...Uchiha name... name...name...name...
DON'T TARNISH THE FAMILY NAME!
That was the main code. Uchiha Clan first. Or at least it was. Before him. Before that storm of a blonde whose hell fire crackled in his wake. Uzumaki. Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze. This code was a breach. A semantic error that pushed its way in without even knowing. But this breach was welcomed. Welcomed with open arms though the machine had no idea when. This breach brought with him the wrath of the sun, the fury of the oceans, and the thrummings of a demon.
Those lovely eyes stirred things...emotions. Emotions so foreign they were believed to have been wiped from the hard drive a long time ago. Anger, jealousy, greed, lust...love. "The sun was born from sin". A sin. He was a sin. But sin never tasted so great.
"Nothing good will come from mixing with that boy"
Wrong. The words held some truth. But Sasuke doesn't know that yet. He didn't know the blonde held such power. The power to control, overwhelm, and take. He was a handful. A shot of raw vodka down the brunette's unready throat.
That blonde was rumored to be trouble, and he was. He was pandemonium, a fire that burned so hot Sasuke couldn't tell who was burning. Beautiful. Beautiful. So goddamned beautiful. Creamy tan skin, lush blonde locks, stunning blue eyes, and that figure, a figure any woman would kill for, and those plump lips full of lies. He was a sin. A sin that paved way to storm.
"Does that make you angry, Sasuke?" To those unaccustomed to Naruto's antics that would have seemed to be an innocent question. But with the blonde's challenging expression and the small smile adorning his lips, it was anything but. That question alone had sparked something between the two that neither could let go of. Naruto knew he could incite a reaction out of the older man by asking that question, what he didn't expect was the night spent together that had followed. Sasuke had known Naruto was a sin, but even then he knew he'd gladly let Naruto drag him to hell.
'*'*'*'*'*'*
It was wild. Life before him was wild. No day was ever the same, and that was the way he liked it. There was always something going on, something that was bound to cause a frenzy; parties, clubs, races, fights, drugs, drinks, sex.
But he made sure to do his part first; attending classes, meetings, sitting through grooming and etiquette lessons. He bore his clan name with pride and executed his tasks with grace. He had a reputation to uphold; two of them. But all that pride and grace couldn't mask the crazy.
Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze. He was the embodiment of chaos, he had a reputation for being unpredictable, the whole clan did. Most business owners steered clear of the entire family. A horrible mistake. The Uzumaki-Namikaze Clan, though unpredictable, stand at the top of the food chain, right up there with the Uchihas. After all, you can't maintain the top of the game without losing some sanity.
"Insane"
Insane. That's the word. They were all insane.
"They couldn't keep that boy on a leash if it were made of gold"
Leash? The word was so new, it was laughable. Him? On a leash? His parents never needed such a thing. After all, Naruto was a monster of his parent's creation. They shaped him into the person he was the same way their parents did them; with freedom.
The blonde knew of no limits. Minato and Kushina drew no lines for their fox, the blonde had free reign. He acted recklessly without consequence, anyone bold enough to berate the child faced the wrath of the so-called "clan of demons". And it was taboo to tussle with the Uzumaki Clan.
Though he behaved with such reckless abandon, he remained at the top of the list among the rising talents in Japan. He had held the title of "Hot upcoming model" for four years before becoming the face of multiple of Japan's designer brands. That was just the type of respect he commanded.
But that man commanded something different entirely. Possessed such an ego it eclipsed his own. He hated that man. As calm as a still lake. He hated him. As lovely as the moon in the early hours of morn. He hated him. Porcelain skin as pale as a dolls. He hated him. Dark grey eyes as empty as an abyss.
HE HATED HIM!
Sasuke. Uchiha Sasuke. He was insufferable. That man had turned his every thought. Broken every wall. And controlled him, he possessed him. With just the utterance of a few words; he consumed him. And Naruto allowed it; welcomed it. He had never enjoyed being controlled...though a single day. A day spent with the stoic man had changed everything. His words. His words. His lovely words penetrated the Fox's ears and stirred his heart.
He hated him. Sasuke. He hated him. He caged him. That man touched his life and made the world slow. Touched his being and shared his calm. He hated...him. Hated. Hated. Hated. Hated...him in the past. But the present was filled with addiction. Sasuke was a drug he had never been dealt. A drug that allowed him to slow, take a breath, to live.
That man...so calm he could quiet the rage of the oceans. Those cold eyes had unearthed emotions left behind for dreamers, for the hopeful. Anger, jealousy, greed...love. He was an infinite calm, A calm that made the blonde want to give in. "The moon is a loyal companion...its always there". A companion. A companion to walk with him through his personal purgatory. A companion didn't sound too bad.
"He'll corrupt him"
"He could change him"
Both were equally true. But Naruto doesn't know that yet. He didn't know of a person alive that could control him. That dared to bark orders at him like a dog. But the Uchiha had. The raven was a pill the blonde was forced to swallow. The man held such power over him; he loved it. He loved making the elder man angry, angry enough to yell at him; fight with him. Hell, he was addicted to every emotion that beautiful man threw at him.
He was rumored to be emotionless, cold, and an unwavering jackass. But he knew otherwise, he could see the emotional range he held. He knew Sasuke's anger; strong enough to swallow them whole, his sadness; heavy enough to drown the sun, his happiness; ephemeral but breathtaking, his love; so beautiful it was blinding...it was ethereal. His happiness was always accompanied by a smile that melted Naruto's heart and consumed his mind. That man...was making him greedy, he was a multi-flavored drug and Naruto wanted every variation for himself.
He longed to possess the brunette. To hold as much power over him as the raven had done to him. He hated it, but he loved it at the same time. Sasuke was making him greedy, he encouraged it.
"Take what you want, Naruto" Sasukes whispers entered his ears and echoed throughout his soul. That night. That sinful night. That night spent pressed against the ravens bare skin was heaven. Naruto knew no other way to describe it.
