"You can't tell him."
And yet, there was that part of him standing there as the rain poured down, looking on, watching a person he cared greatly for break down, not to mention there was a part of him that ached to have had the person in front of him actually show he cared before things got out of hand.
"We're both supposed to be dead, Regulus. You can't let Sirius know we're alive, my boy."
"But it's so cruel," Regulus muttered to the man standing beside him. "And it kind of makes us feel like ghosts, doesn't it?"
"I guess you could say that," the man said. "But when the time is right, maybe. Maybe one day."
That maybe one day didn 't feel as if it could come soon enough.
