Game Update

I sat in my room, searching the deep web for horror games, something that'll make time go by a bit faster since I decided to pull an all-nighter with my friend Beomgyu. Call me a psychopath, but I really enjoy the feeling of being scared, the feeling of my heart increasing as I can feel adrenaline rushes throughout my body.

¨So, found anything?¨ I ask, as I can hear shuffling throughout the background, figuring that Beomgyu may have been a bit busy I divert my attention back to my pc as I continue scrolling

ḧUH¨ I hear him say, his voice cracking as I can see his big ass forehead in the camera

¨ did you find any games yes or no?¨

¨Oh.....nope but I'll text you some recommendations, my phone is about to die¨ He says as he picks up his phone, flashing a peace sign before hanging up

I return the gesture before he hangs up and i click my phone off.

I continue scrolling for a bit until I heard my phone ding, it was a text from Beomgyu

Beomgyu: I found one called Game Update, from the description it doesn't say much but I hope you'll like it

Me: Thanks Gramps, took you long enough

Beomgyu:🖕

Game Update: A game where you play as if your life is actually at stake, play with lights off and candles lit, and have fun :)

I turn off the lights but still have my fairy lights on to be a substitution for candles

Also, let us not mention that my room looks like I'm about to summon a fucking demon

I click on the game and it had the ideal style of a retro '90s game with the blotchy graphics, the weird-looking, square-like writing, and the animation, you get the memo

The game starts like any ole' game, with the character rising from the floor, standing on its feet before diverting its attention towards what is in front of them

(kinda like the intro to Granny, man I suck at describing shit my bad yall)

I use my cursor to look around and my eyes grew big

Is this....downstairs

Does this game take place in my fucking house?

This gotta be a joke, right?

oh well, let's get this shit over with

Sparkling can be seen in the distance, as if it was something we needed to pick up, without hesitation, I use my keyboard to move my character, and alas there it was, a note sat there on my coffee table

I click it open to see what it says

Check the bathroom, there's a surprise in there for you :)

Okay seriously what the fuck

Come on now, don't be too scared I mutter to myself as I make my character move upstairs to my bathroom

My eyes grow wide

This bathroom is exactly like mine, a pink bathrobe hanging on the back of the door, my shampoos, my loofah, and towel, even the crack in the wall that I accidentally made when I slipped from the shower.
