Inappropriate conversations

You leaned against the tree again. This situation was hopeless.. cuffed and lost you would never find a way back home. It was questionable why you two even left the place you fell down.

And as you had feared the snow covered your footsteps reducing the chances of finding the way to zero.

Irritated you payed a look at the ginger as your eyes met his ocean blue eyes.

"Stop staring at me you creep." You sharply said.

"C'mon don't be so rude, a lady should not use such inappropriate wording." Childe added.

"Since when I care what is considered as inappropriate among you rich bastards."

"Ts, as if rich people invented courtesy." Childe grabbed your cuffed arm and pulled you two up. His coat slipped down your shoulders.

"I'd advise you to behave like a proper woman.. maybe your punishment would be considered less harsh if they recognize you as a lady."

You laughed at him. As if you cared about any punishment.. who was he in first place to tell you how to behave, especially right now, when you were counting him as your biggest threat in this moment.

"I don't owe you anything so don't act as if you even care about my well being. Also, the chances we return are low so I hope you freeze to death with me."

"Don't say such things silly, I am good at finding roads..."

That's what Childe said two hours ago.

Look at you, lost in the endless woods of Snezhnaya, the woods you once called home. The worst part of this story was that you had to bear the company of this Harbinger.

Almost every 5 minutes Childe stated new stupid facts that drove you crazy.

"Look! this tree.. we saw it some hours ago, I carved your name into it." Childe pointed at a tree.

You rolled your eyes. "That's not something to be proud of you moron." You were visibly frustrated about the fact that you two walked circles.

"Dang, your wording can hurt people.. don't you care about it?"

It was enough.. it seemed as if he did this on purpose. "OBVIOUSLY NOT." You shouted. "FOR ONE GOD DAMN MINUTE WOULD YOU.. PLEASE.. SHUT UP. GOD DAMN, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH."

"Don't let your frustration out on me. Should have had fought better back then."

Gaslighting. Why was he trying to make you even more angry.. for what purpose?

After wandering around for some more hours you actually found something. It was an abandoned hut almost buried under the thick snow.

Your eyes widened as you saw the inside of this hut. It seemed as if a previous rebel member used to use this hut to collect information.

Posters of important parts of the capital of Snezhnaya, location marks on cards of this forest and most important canned goods.

You weren't starving yet but for the future this was helpful.

The rest of the hut was pretty simple decorated, a small table with a chair, a little pot lying among the documents and a wooden bed in the corner of the hut.

"See I told you we will find a way... let me just read the cards to figure out where exactly this place is..."

You two bounced on the bed as childe took a card from the wall trying to figure out what the symbols could possibly mean.

You on the other hand understood the hidden messenges and prayed to Celestia that he would never figure out those codes.

If these cards were up to date you weren't that far away from your "lair". There was a small chance to accidentally run against your mates and be freed by them.
