Chapter Six: Pent Up Emotions

Brittney's POV:

I wake up to the feeling of someone kissing on my neck. I smile at the feeling as I wrap my arm around their head.

Me: Ray.

I open my eyes and try to look at him. He lifts up and looks at me. I blink for a second.

Me: Roc?

Ro: Wassup babygirl?

He places his lips on mine and I push him back.

Me: Roc what are you doing?

Ro: What does it look like I'm doing? I'm calling dibs.

He starts kissing on my neck again, but I push him away.

Me: Roc stop. We are acquaintances.

Ro: Acquaintances can't fuck?

He crawls back towards me as I get nervous.

Me: Not if one doesn't want to do that with the other.

He looks at me and smack his lips.

Ro: Yeah right. I guess you meant to tell me to stop when I pinched that ass earlier.

He starts pulling on my pants as I kick him.

Me: Roc stop. I don't want you.

He holds my arms down on the bed as he hovers on top of me.

Ro: Just relax lil mama.

I try to get out of his hold as my arms start hurting.

Me: Roc, you're hurting me!

I jump up and gasp. I look around and see Ray laying next to me. He jumps to my sudden action.

R: Britt, you alright?

He reaches to touch my shoulder but I quickly move away. He looks at me up and down.

R: I didn't mean to scare you.

I sigh as I compose myself.

Me: I'm fine.

R: Bad dream?

I nod my head as I try not to cry.

R: Wanna talk about it?

I quickly shake my head no. It gets silent for a moment.

R: What about a hug?

I look up at him and fall into his arms. I exhale as I fight the tears from falling. Having that kind of dream with Jake was unfortunately normal. But Roc? That scares me.

R: Lay down. You can stay here tonight.

Me: Oh no, you already have somebody staying here Ray. It's okay.

R: I can tell you are still a bit riled up, and I know you are not gonna go back to sleep if you're by yourself at home.

He looks into my eyes.

R: Stay, please.

I look down before responding.

Me: Okay, fine.

I lay back down in Ray's arms as we stare at the ceiling.

R: By the way, you owe me lunch for staying up during the movie.

I look at him and giggle.

Me: As long as you don't take all my money, I'm good.
