"What?! He is who?!" Minji grabbed her head and jumped up from the couch. "You must be kidding me now."

I shook my head. "No. Jungkook is the son of a gangster..." I sighed and lowered my head. I felt lost and overwhelmed by it all.

"Don't you think you should stay away from him? Something can happen to you." She squeaked nervously. "What did he even tell you?

"Nothing. His father said during their argument that the mafia doesn't have loved ones for a reason and that's what I heard...I didn't talk to Jungkook about it."

"I think you should talk to him. You didn't really give him a chance to explain."

"But what's there to explain?" Minnie muttered and sat down, then reached for her glass of drink.

"Like what his life is really like, what they do and how dangerous it is," Joon said calmly.

"I really don't know what to think about all of this," I whispered, hiding my face in hands.

"Do you care about him?" Namjoon suddenly asked, staring at me so intensely that I felt it without even looking up. As usual, he was calm and composed. "Do you have feelings for him?"

I looked into his eyes and sniffled, nodding my head trying not to cry. Of course I cared about him. Since he came into my life, the world has become completely different. For the first time in as long as I can remember, I felt something like this.

"So give him a chance. Do you really think he's not worth trying?" he asked quietly, grabbing my hand. Tears rolled down my cheeks. Of course he was worth it. I didn't even want to think about the fact that he would suddenly not be in my life.

"Joon, do you really think she should..."

"Yes" he interrupted her. "She should. She'll regret it for the rest of her life that she didn't even try. By the way, let's face it, he was willing to argue with his father about Mia being important to him." mentioned what I had told them earlier. "If he didn't care, he'd ditch it and go along with what his father says."

Without saying a word, I moved closer to him and snuggled into his arms. I was grateful that they were there and that I could count on them once again. Minji smiled and joined the hug, kissing the top of my head.

"Well.. Namjoon's right, if you don't even try, you'll regret it."

"I love you guys." I sighed in relief. "So... will you go bowling with me on Friday?"

"Sure! You really asking us again?" Minji crooned. "We'll meet him finally."

"Actually... Namjoon already met him."

"What?" the girl turned serious and glared at her friend. "When were you going to tell me?! Tell me everything. In detail." she perched on her heels, put her hands on her knees, and fixed her piercing blue eyes on him. "I'm waiting."
