Throughout most of 2021, rumors kept going around about the nation's boy group CallMyName possibly disbanding due to their group contract and company contract on the verge of expiring. As these rumors spread, none of the members or company responded to anything. At the time, everything seemed as though it was being dealt with privately.

However, today, much info was revealed. It all started when leader and member Bow had put out this message (originally written in Korean but was able to be translated to English)

"I have kept this in me for so many years. For so long, I've been keeping my quiet and obeying like some fucking dog. I've had to tell my members numerous times to stay quiet as well because I feared the outcome if we spoke up. But not anymore. We've dealt with Neon's mistreatment and have been controlled by them for years, but we've reached our limit with them."

"We are not your fucking slaves. WE made this group the group that it is. Me, Hui, Kun, JW, Gabe, and June, we made this group, not you. You may have had complete control over us when we were young boys, but not anymore. I am not a scared, young man anymore. Me and the others have gained so much power and more now that we're older, and with that, we do not need your support."

"Throughout these past few months, I've been working on a case that required lawyers, courts and other private business things. And now, I'm glad to announce that me and the rest of the members have officially gained all rights to CallMyName."

"With the rights to everything we made and everything we've become, we are happy to also announce that we've officially leaving you, Neon Entertainment. We are old enough, strong enough, and more powerful enough now to break the chains you've had on us for so many years."

"Our journey with Neon has finally ended, but our journey as a group is not done yet. From this day on, CallMyName will still remain as a group. And we will continue to make music for you all, and do so much more."

"CALLERS, we've dealt with so much over the years. Not just the mistreatment from our company, but a lot of other personal things and trauma that had really affected us. However, no matter what, you were still there for us. Thank you for all the support, love and more that you've done for us over the years. I hope that you can stick with us as we move onto this next chapter of our lives."
