Chapter 17: Baby's First Week

Days Later

I was released from the infirmary. and Dianite said that he had a surprised for me and Diamond. I'm really excited. Dianite walks up a head and walks into a room and tells me to wait outside. Do I as he says. I held Diamond in my hands, she's our little fallen angel.

"Mommy loves you Diamond," I say as I poke her nose. She giggled at that. Dianite came out and he took me to us to come in.

When I walked in it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. It was a nursery. With a medieval castle, red and black theme.

"Well?" asked Dianite.

"I...I...I love it," I said as I sat down on the black rocking chair.

There was silence between us.

"You know she's never gonna have a normal life," I spoke up.

"What are you talking about?" Dianite asked.

"With us in this, well paused war, but when it starts back up again. It's gonna be awful for her."

"Nothing is going to happen to her, I'm not going to let it. And she will have a normal life for the time because being then we'll go on for there."

"Ok. Diamond just know we'll always love you," I said as a kissed her head. then Dianite did the same.

It's was getting dark in the overworld. so it was time to put her to bed.

I sat in Dianite's lap in the rocking chair.

She was fast asleep when I finished . got off of Dianite lap, and I walked to Diamond's crib. I placed her in it. Then I turned the baby monitor on and put Overture by BVB on repeat.

Dianite and I walk out the room and closed the door. We walk to our and clothes the door when we walked in. I could Overture playing through the baby monitor and the slow breathing of Diamond.

I smiled then climbed into bed with Dianite. Dianite wrapped he's arms around my waist then feel asleep against his chest after he said, "I love you."
