Ariana's POV

"Ari, where are you? It's almost dinner time! You've missed lunch already and—" Raina literally yelled at me from the other end of the phone but I cut her off.

"As much as I appreciate your worry, Raina, I'm fine. I'm on the way back home now." I told her as I walked on the pavement, the wind blowing into my face.

"You've got five minutes or we'll start without you. Jacklyn made her famous ravioli."

"I'm on my way!"

With that, I hung up and slipped my phone into my back pocket and sighed audibly, my heels clicking on the stoned sidewalk. Everything was all fine and good, up until someone bumped against me, which almost caused me to fall down.

"Hey!" I shouted after the person and looked after her. The dark haired girl turned around and shot me an innocent smile.

"Oh my god, I'm so  sorry!" She gasped, the sarcasm audible in her voice.

"Do I know you?" I scoffed and placed my right hand on my hip.

"Not really, but I know you through a friend," The girl shrugged before she introduced herself, "I'm Aura. And I want you to stay away from Luke before you regret it."

Now I understood everything. I let out a laugh.

"Okay, Aura. For your information, I know him since today so you can have him all for yourself."

"I better have." Aura snarled at me before she threw her brown hair at my face and strode away.

I rolled my eyes in disgust and turned on my heel, pushing that wannabe queen out of my head. I couldn't, though. Too many questions were running through my mind.

How did she know I was with Luke? How did she know I was even here? Was she stalking us? Stalking me?

Before I knew, I already stood in front of my doorstep and fiddled with my keys, trying to find the right one. After a while, I found the right one and twisted the doorknob, instantly kicking off my shoes before I headed to the dining room, where all of my seven housemates already started to eat. The seat beside Arabella was still free.

"Is that ravioli I see?" I asked up and all heads turned to me.

"Jacklyn style, of course babe." Jacklyn winked at me playfully, her green eyes twinkling before Arabella patted the seat next to me. Out of all seven girls, Arabella was the best out of my best friends.

"Where were you? An also, what took you so long?" Bev, the youngest out of all of us, piped up with  full mouth.

"Well, I met this guy—" I didn't come to finish my sentence because Robin, the flirt, let her cutlery fall on her plate with a loud sound and gasped.

"Oh my god; Ariana is finally getting a boyfriend! What's his name? How does he look like? Is he hot? Of course he is hot otherwise you wouldn't have talked to him that long— How did you meet?"

"Woah, slow down, Robin." I cut her off and made the fitting hand gestures.

"Just answer the questions, Ari!" Robin ordered, flipping her blond hair.

"Wait, isn't that the guy who wanted to talk to Raina?" Arabella furrowed her brows at me and I wanted to stab her.

"He wanted to what?" Raina's jaw dropped open. "I don't know here any guy who'd want to talk to me. All of the guys I know are living in Mexico." That was obvious though, due to her Latina roots.
