What was my love life like? Pretty good. I still was presented with suitors that my sister didn't like. They weren't terrible, and they were pretty cute. But there was one girl from the village that stole my heart. She was the cook's daughter, Eliza; my lord, she was hot. I didn't tell my parents because I wasn't crazy, but I told the cook I loved Eliza. I expressed interest in dating her, and he was on board. He swore he wouldn't say a word to anyone and kept it.
I would go out secretly in my ordinary folk clothes with Eliza and go on different dates. She's the only one I'd let in on Cerberus and the secret hiding place. It was our place and our place only.
Then I got caught sneaking in one day and was banned from heading out for 2 weeks. And every day, I snuck out to meet up at our hiding place.
We stashed some food for the next day, and we did that every day I was supposed to be "inside 24/7."
She was my world and still is. I went on to marry her. Eliza's the best thing that happened to me.
At my coming-of-age ceremony at 18, I came out that I was dating a female, but my parents didn't punish me. That made me suspicious. The village folk was incredibly supportive of me dating Eliza. I'd give anything to make her happy.
