chapter-17 juvia's past

Jellal's prov: i quickly rushed in the ward and found juvia sleeping. I went close to her and tears rolled into my eyes on seeing her after such a long time. She has grown so much from the last time, she looks beautiful than ever. I sat at the chair near to her bed. I took her hand and gently kissed it. Gray entered the room with some medicines and he seems to be shocked on seeing me. "Mind telling what the hell are you doing near juvia?" gray's voice was full of anger, he headed towards me inorder to hit me i guess. Anyway Erza stopped gray nd told him to listen to me first!!! "Thats okay erza, let him hit me, i deserve it" i said while staring at juvia. I felt like i am responsible for her situation..

I turned towards gray "Gray!! I am juvia's elder brother" tears rolled in my eyes again... I swiped them off and continued "Before juvia was born, my country was thirsty was rain.., droughts were considered normal back there. But when juvia was born it rained... It rained after 6 long months.. Everyone were so happy, my father's business rapidly increased within two months but.........., the unfortunately the rain didn't stopped. It kept raining every single day. Evry single person in village who once came to bless juvia now came to curse her. I asked my mom about this but she told me the sky loved her, those are the tears of joy, juvia's birth made the sky so happy that rain kept on falling! But my dad thought that juvia a curse on him so he decided to leave the town.. He took divorce from my mom and separated me from her and juvia.." while saying that tears kept flowing from my eyes as i recalled every single incident of my past i continued "Years passed, and juvia's absence was filled by my step sister... My dad went ill and all he wants now is to see juvia again.. From last three years i have been searching for her. I went to my village and found that my mom has abandoned her and my uncle was taking care of her. When i got my uncle's address i got to know that he passed away last year, i had so clue about her presence, i kept on searching her on every possible place and She was so close to me all the time....." i felt erza's hand on my back. She hugged me tight...

"But meldy know juvia, she met her evry alternate day" gray asked in confusion.. "Hey!! How do you know my step-sister's name?"
"Juvia told me"
"But meldy dont know anything about juvia"
"Thats impossible cuz juvia told me that meldy is her step sister and they only meet at night as her father dont want her to meet juvia"
On hearing that i was totally confused.. I immediately called meldy and asked her to come to hospital...
Within 30 minutes she was here.. We all came out to talk to meldy "Jellal!!" she screamed on seeing me.. Meldy was as bubbly as always. "Meldy!" i started "do you know we hve a sister?" "Whattt????" meldy sounded totally surprised.. I turned to gray and even he was confused..
"Do you know a girl named juvia?"
"yeahhhh!!! "
"How do you know her?"
"please jellal dont get angry on me and dont tell dad about this" she pleaded
"okay but tell me how do you know her?"
"Remember one year ago i asked dad's permission for school's excursion.." she stopped and continued "i actually went to forest with my friends"
"meldy we will talk about this later for sure" i gave her death glare nd she turned her head down and continued "There i got lost!! And came across juvia.. She was so kind, we kept talking to each other like we were soulful sisters. I showed her our family pic and told her about you. later She made me soup and guided me bck to my friends.. I took her no. And since that we are in contact! I dont want you or dad to know about her so i kept meeting her at night"
"Juvia is our sister meldy" as soon as she heared that she looked up in complete astonishment!!
"I am sorry for hiding this meldy but i never wanted to search her and get depressed so i never..... "
"How dare you jellal. How could you do this" she shouted at me and all the hospital staff stared at us..

She noticed the staff staring at us and asked "why you called me in a..... hospital?" she turned around and examined the place and spotted juvia in the ward.. "Holy crap" she ran into the ward and we all followed her. Meldy stood at the door and asked "what is juvia doing here?" i replied that she had fever but she will be fine nothing to worry... Meldy ran towards juvia nd hugged her, sat on the chair near her "Just get up already juvia i cant wait to share my happiness with you" she sounded so happy and i felt like a burden removed from my chest!
I saw meldy staring at erza and erza widened her eyes at meldy's glare. "Wow erza you are more beautiful than the picture jellal showed me" holy shit by saying that meldy made me blush so bad. And who are you mr., she was staring at gray... " ah me? I am gray..." "Omg gray fullbuster? " she jumped out of the chair in excitement "yeahh!?" gray responded as he raised his right eyebrow... "Juvia always told me about you., i always wanted to meet you in person..." she walked closed to gray and turned her head towards me "jellal do you know him? Is he a nice guy?"
"yeah i knw him.. He is one of my best lAds, we play football together" i smiled at gray, he smiled back
She turned her head towards gray again and leaned her face to note gray's features... After a moment she turned back at me at said "Hey jellal i approve him, juvia's choice is soo good" on hearing meldy i could see how red gray was goin
"choice?" gray whispered
"Yeah!! Haven't she said that she is head over heels in lo...." i stopped meldy my covering her mouth "not a word more" i shouted at her... With all those noices i felt juvia saying something. We all surrounded her and she barely opened her eyes "jellal?" she said is such a soft calm low tone.. On hearing my name from my little sister mouth for the first time my heart felt like coming out of the my chest in order to enjoy this overwhelming happiness., tears of joy rolled in my eyes on seeing her talk.....
