You were all collecting iron sand until you saw Suika drift downstream. Kohaku was not paying attention but Chrome was filled with pure worry with Suika on the team now.
"You're not Momotaro Suika, don't drown!" Chrome screeches. 'Momotaro?' You thought, you knew the story since you were young, your father would read japanese stories to you. The story of Momotaro was interesting of you. A boy born from peach, who grows up to destroy all the ogres on ogre island.
"So you guys don't know what monster hunter is, but you know what the story of Momotaro is..?" You say, Senku was equally as confused. "Oh! You two know the story of Momotaro too?" Chrome responses cheerful "Miss Ruri told us that one!" Suika squeaks.
Senku seemed to pique more interest in Ruri "Did this Ruri lady tell you guys about gorillas too I'm guessing? Unless they live in the wild here."
"I've never seen one here before, I don't think I even really know what they look like." Kohaku adds. "Didn't Momotaro have a gorilla friend? And other animals like a crocodile, bear and lion right?" Chrome questions.
"What's with the overly wild Momotaro?!" You and Senku shout.

"Do you think it's about teaching the other villages survival lessons Senku?" You ask him. "Probably, but that doesn't explain who told her all these stories unles-" Senku was cut off by Kohaku "I've heard many stories from Ruri. It's called the 100 tales, she learned them from our mother before she died."
Senku laughs quietly "I'd like to learn more about Ruri, this cure-all may be worth it after all." Chrome was a bit shaken about Senku's comment about learning more about Ruri. "Why are you interested in Ruri..?" Chrome asks curiously.
"Oh? OH? So Chrome you like Ruri eh?" You could tell by his red face right after you said that. It was so similar to Yuzuriha, how cute.

After the excursion at the river, You, Senku, Chrome, Kohaku and Suika visited the bridge because Senku needed to ask Ruri about her illness and her stories.
"The rules are the rules! You and that woman will not step into this village!" The mysterious guard says.
"Who's this Chrome?" You whisper. "Oh this is the stuck up Kinro, you'll never get in the village through him. And behind him is Ginro, his brother, he's a real sleaze ball"
"Kinro, there's a pretty lady with them though!" Ginro said before he was dragged away from the group.

"How will this sand turn into iron?" Suika ponders, Senku quickly explains the combination of iron sand to charcoal. "Wow thats so simple! It's gonna be made in a jiffy." Chrome says.
"Kukuku, don't be so naive, we need to heat it up to about.. 1500 degrees, you guys up for the task?"
"Hell yea we are!" You, Kohaku, Chrome and Suika shout.
