Everything seemed to speed up all of a sudden.

You walk over to Sarah very cautiously and try to stay calm.

"Sarah, why are there all these boxes?"

"I don't know how to tell you this. Well, since Im graduating next week, my step-mom wants to go back to Georgia. So they sold the house a couple of weeks ago and they need to be out in 30 days."

"Okay, so, I need to ask my parents, but, You could totally come stay with us. It will be like a long ass sleepover. Omg we could go to Starbucks every morning, we could get breakfast before school, we could....."

She didn't let me finish, and I wish I never woud have started.

"Georgeana. I am going with them."

"Why?"

"You know that I never really liked it here either. We never had anything to do on the weekends, there is no place to go here besides the movies. You know that there is nothing keeping me here after she left..."

She whispered that part, almost as if, if she said it any louder, she would have cried.

"Sarah, I know that you don't want to live in a town where all of your bad memories happened. You don't want to have to look at the house and the hospital and the church and the places where you two used to do things, but Sarah whats goning to happen to college?"

"Ill go in Georgia. Laura's family will pay for it, if I go up there with her and my dad."

She was getting on my lsast nerve...

"What about going together? What about opening a veterinary practice next to my bakery? What about getting a house next to each other and staying friends?"

"Really Georgeana? We planned all those things when we were like 5!"

"We were 10"

Now I was going to be the crying

I was losing my best friend.

"When are you going to be leaving?"

"The day after graduation."

"SO that's it?"

"No, we will still call and stuff, but right now I need to finish packing."

She gave me a hug and a left...
