Months later, As Eggman's robot army invaded the city, chaos reigned supreme. Buildings were being destroyed left and right, and people were running for their lives. Meanwhile, in the Metal Sonic suit, the younger sibling frantically searched through old security footage to find out what had happened to them and their older sibling.
Finally, they found the footage they were looking for. It showed Eggman tricking them into wearing the suits and extracting their souls to power them. The suits came to life, following Eggman's commands and wreaking havoc.
Filled with rage, Metal Sonic set off to find Eggman and put an end to his tyranny once and for all. However, as he approached, Mecha Sonic stepped in to protect Eggman, ready to take down his younger brother.
"Brother, you don't have to do this," Metal Sonic pleaded, trying to reason with his older brother. "We can work together to stop Eggman and his army."
But Mecha Sonic's programming had been corrupted by Eggman's influence, and he saw no other way out but to protect his creator. With a swift move, Mecha Sonic attacked, killing Metal Sonic in a single blow.
Eggman watched from a safe distance, a devilish expression on his face. "Excellent work, Mecha Sonic" he said. "With your power under my control, there's no limit to what I can accomplish."
And with that, the life of "Metal Sonic" came to an end, setting the stage for the events that would unfold in the future.
