"Is this even a good plan?" Ethan asks.
"You don't have to come if you don't want to," Tara replies, walking down the stairs.
We're taking Bailey's advice and using public transportation. He may be a killer, but he's right about it being safer in public.
"So we just peel off and the killer picks us off one by one? No, thank you." Ethan says. What was the point of saying that? They already don't suspect him anymore. That's just giving them doubts.
"Let's just get to the theater. Come on, in here." Sam says, running to the closest train.
"Aw, yes, because it'll be much less scary at the serial killer movie theater." Chad says sarcastically, following Sam.
"Wait, hey, hey! Chad!" Mindy yells. Ethan and I are walking closely behind her, which causes all three of us to miss the train.
Chad tries to reach his hand through the doors to grab her, but they close, making him jolt his arm back. "Fuck!"
The train drives away, and Ethan and I run up to Mindy. He puts his hand on her shoulder, causing her to turn suddenly towards him. "Get your Ghostface ass away from me, Ghostface." she says as she walks away.
She was right, but I'm sure it still hurts.
Ethan tries to look at her, but she shoos him away with her hand and whisper yells, "Go away!"He looks down at me disappointed, and I just take my arm in his and lean my head on his shoulder while we wait for the next train.
We get on the train, and Mindy refuses to stand next to us. "You can choose to trust him, but that doesn't mean I have to." she tells me.
She stands leaned up against a wall, while Ethan and I both hold on to a pole.
She looks over at us, and Ethan waves at her. She just rolls her eyes and looks away. He looks at me with a sad look in his eyes, and I just mouth "She's right." He nods and looks away.
I watch her get a message, and she tries to text back, but I'm guessing it won't go through based on the fact that she starts holding her phone in the air.
The lights won't stop flickering, which isn't helping considering how many Ghostface costumes are here. I watch her get jumpscared by one and then move towards the back.
Ethan and I try to move closer to her just to keep an eye on her and make sure nothing happens. But there are too many people, so all we can see is one of her sleeves.
"I don't like this," I whisper to Ethan, looking at all the Ghostfaces.
"I know. I know. It's gonna be okay," he says, grabbing my hand.
I turn around and hug him, wrapping my arms around his neck and leaning my head on his chest.
The train stops, and Ethan whispers, "Oh shit!"
I unwrap my arms and turn around confused, but then I see Mindy. She's sitting on the ground with her hand over a stab wound. We run over there, shoving people out of our way. "Goddammit, Quinn," he whispers. "Mindy! Fuck!"
"No, no, no, no, no," I yell, pushing someone out of my way.
"Shit, shit! Mindy! Fuck, that's a lot of blood..." he says while putting pressure on her wound and yelling for people to call the cops.
"Help! Somebody help!" I yell, crying.
"Fuck. We've got to get you out of here, okay?" he says to Mindy, helping her up while she yells.
He sits her down so she can lean on a pole. "Are you okay?!" he asks.
"Yeah, I'm so good!" she says sarcastically.
"You're gonna be okay," he says, but I'm not sure if he's trying to convince her or himself.
"Goddamn it. I got it wrong again."
Ethan and I look at each other, knowing she got it exactly right.
"Fuck this franchise."

The ambulance took her to the hospital, and even though I wanted to go with her, I knew I couldn't. Quinn was such a bitch.
We're standing behind the movie theater, where an old exit is.
"Okay, listen," Ethan says in his Ghostface costume. He's holding the hat and the knife both in the same hand while talking. "I cannot promise this is going to go the way we want it to."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean... I can't promise none of your friends are going to die."
I shake my head. "So... what are you saying? You're going to hurt them?"
"No. Well... okay- no. But if one comes at me, I will not refrain from putting them down."
"Excuse me?"
"I won't kill them. Okay?- but that's not the point. The point is, I will do anything it takes for you to survive, okay?"
He hugs me, running his hands through my hair. And he kisses me before putting the mask on. He enters through the door, and I wait for my cue.
