Don't you just hate it when people throw giant rocks at you?
"HOLY SHI-"
A giant boulder whizzed passed your head, just barely missing your face.
Yeah, me too.
Another boulder landed right next to your foot, almost crushing you.
"USE YOUR WAND YOU IDIOT!"
A loud shout came from the audience, causing you to stop running.
"Oh shit forgot about that."
You pulled out your brown pen and clicked the tip. It quickly extended into a wooden want. You hurriedly lifted it up and aimed it at the next flying boulder.
"Bombarda!"
You yelled, and a bright beam caused the rock to explode on impact. You turned to your Advanced duels teacher and shot another spell his way before he could shoot another boulder at you.
"Expelliarmus!"
Your teachers wand flew out of his hand and your classmates erupted into applause and whoops of praise. You smiled and bowed childishly before making your way to the stands so that the next student could take their test.
"Y/N! You idiot! If I hadn't yelled at you you probably would have died!"
A tall black haired boy lectured you as you took a swing from your water bottle and wiped some sweat of your forehead. You just shrugged and set the water bottle down on the floor next to a snickering blonde girl.
"But I didn't! Geez what would I do without you Percy."
You said sarcastically and shook your head at him, pretending to be sincere.
"You wouldn't do anything, BECAUSE YOU'D BE DEAD-"
Ignoring the blue-eyed boy's constant rambling, you turned to the girl and took a seat next to her. Her curly blonde hair was tied up in a ponytail and her orange dueling shirt was ripped a bit at the bottom from her own battle. She laughed at Percy's rambling and slung an arm around your shoulder.
"So have you heard?"
She asked in an exited voice, a bright smile on her freckled face.
"I'm not sure, so do tell Annabeth, do tell."
Annabeth laughs at your unenthusiastic response and tells Percy to listen too. He finally stops talking and takes a seat next to you.
"Principal Chiron announced to the leadership committee that he'll be sending students to Hogwarts for the Quad-Wizard tournament! And us being the top students, we were chosen to go! I've been waiting to tell you guy's literally all day."
You and Percy looked each other in excitement, and Annabeth grinned from ear to ear.
"This is so exciting! We might actually get to go to Hogwarts! We would get to see Quidditch matches in person, and stay at one of the most brilliant wizarding schools in the whole world!"
Percy ranted about the 'extraordinary opportunities' while Annabeth and Y/N were both thinking the same thing.
"NO HOMEWORK!!"
They exclaimed, Y/N almost crying with joy.
"Principal Chiron gave us permission to go pack after this class, since we have free period after anyways."
You nodded and perked up when you heard the loud ringing of the courtyard bell signaling the end of sixth class. The three of you conversed in meaningless banter until you arrived at the cabins. After parting with the two, you slammed open the door to your cabin and threw your bag on your bed.
