✩ CHAPTER 2 ✩

You awoke to the feeling of I've cold water splashing over your face, snapping you out of your pleasant dream.

Your eyes shot open and you looked up to meet piercing storm-like grey orbs staring at you.

"Well it's about time! I've been calling at you for six minutes! We're leaving this afternoon so start getting ready to go ya shank."

Annabeth stated and you looked at Nico who was awkwardly standing in the corner of the cabin.

You mouthed, 'What the fuck man'

And he silently replied, 'Sorry I couldn't stop her'

"Ok, ok I'm getting up. No need to get your wand in a knot."

The blonde girl nodded and left, closing the door behind her. You shuffled out of your bed and stood up tiredly. Stretching your arms up high, you gained a satisfying pop from your shoulder blades and eased the ache in your back.

"I'm gonna go say bye to everyone, you coming with?"

You asked your brother, and he shook his head.

"No, sorry. I told Will I'd help him study for the upcoming Potions exam, but I'll be there before you leave."

Will Solace was Nico's boyfriend, and it always warmed your heart to see them together. You nodded and said a quick goodbye before exiting cabin thirteen.

You strolled through the school grounds and said farewells to all of your friends, and gained an emotional reaction from Grover when you told him you'd be gone all year. Grover had brought you to Half Blood academy a little over two years ago, and you've been on many adventures together. He was like the older brother you never even asked for.

Afternoon rolled around, and you we're making your way to the front of the school, where you'd be departing from. Annabeth and Percy were already there, hugging their other friends and saying goodbyes.

"Are you ready to go?"

Principal Chiron asked from the front of the crowd, as a few other teachers loaded all your things into a bright yellow school bus.

"Yeah, I am. But I need to say bye to-"

You were cut of by a body colliding with yours and a pair of arm's wrapping around you tightly.

"I'm gonna miss you you stupid bitch."

Nico said stubbornly, squeezing you even tighter.

"I'm gonna miss you too, you crap noodle."

You hugged him back tightly and you held each other for a moment, trying to take in as much warmth as you could. You softly kissed the top of your brothers head, and he slowly released you.

"Bye Y/N."

"Goodbye Nico. I love you."

"I love you too, sis."

You smiled and patted his head one last time before turning to the bus and walked towards your two friends.

"Let's do this bitches."

You said, and Percy rolled his eyes at you. Annabeth laughed a bit as the three of you boarded the bus. You plopped down on a seat and rolled down the window to stick your head out.

"Bye everyone!"

You yelled as the bus started to lift itself off of the ground. You heard a chorus of 'goodbyes' and everyone in the crowd waved.

"Bye Y/N! Bring me back something cool!"

Nico yelled, cupping his hands around his mouth to amplify the sound.
