chapter 12

Lyla's pov

I went to the bathroom like I told Andy. I didn't think anyone was in there so I went ahead and opened the door. When I opened it, Megan was sitting on the counter scrolling through Instagram and smoking. I jumped and quickly started to walk out. "Heyy Sarah come here" she said and smiled still slightly drunkenly. I turned around and looked at her them slowly walked back in. I sniffed and knew right away that she wasn't just smoking regular cigarettes.

"Try this" she said and held it out to me. For some reason my heart started racing. Probably because I've never been offered drugs before even tho its legal now. I figure there's a first time for everything so I hesitantly took it. She pulled me all the way into the bathroom and closed the door, locking it behind me. I gave her a scared look and replied, "Ashley doesn't like smoking period and Andy would kill me for giving this to you." She was staring at me and it was making me kinda nervous. "Ummm...what?" I asked and blushed. "Nothing I just wanna see your reaction to see if it was as stupid as mine"

I carefully put it to my lips and breathed in. I coughed into my elbow and handed it back to her slowly. "You just have to get use to it that's all" Megan laughed. I shrugged, "yeah I guess so. Sorry im fine with this on the inside but on the outside I look so dumb"

"Its okay darling I gotchuu. You need to relaxxx" she slurred drunkenly and handed it back to me. I sighed and took it, may aswell finish what I've started.

Andy's pov

Lyla's phone was ringing so I grabbed and it looked at it. Shit its her mom... I walked towards the bathroom quickly and knocked on the door. I took a deep breath and immediately started coughing. "Megaaannn. Do you have Sarah in there?" I asked. I heard the lock unclick and the door opened. Megan was still holding a joint and Sarah stepped forward to me. "Uh...yes?" She asked innocently. I held out her phone and mouthed we'll talk later. She looked down and took her phone then answered it walking away. There was screaming on the other end...

Lyla's pov

I answered the phone and there was crying, police sirens, and screaming. "Mommmmm?!!?! What's wrong?" I yelled. I probably woke up Mr. Purdy boy oh well. "Chloe...ki-lled your aunt" she cried.
