I looked up to the sky,
Hoping to lose myself in the stars.
I saw life in the branches of a tree,
Hoping to end it all I hacked away in glee.
Little did I know, that in my ignorant rage,
I had forgotten the beauty of the forest.
Glowing butterflies guide my path deeper into the woods.
Stone caves tell tales of foolish bravery.
Truth lies deeper down inside, untrustworthy accounts of insanity.
Am I dead or just crazy.
Guess I'll never truly escape my depravity.
