(Emily's pov)
I layed my head on his bare chest. I thought about Drew. I smiled at the thought that he loved me. I felt like he was the only one I have been getting love from lately. I thought about Kate. I quickly sat up realizing that I left Kate alone. Drew opened his eyes still holding my hand.
(Drew's pov)
"Hey. Where ya going" I asked. She replied that she was going to Kate. I grinned as I stood up and grabbed my shirt. As if she forgot about me, she quickly ran to Kate. I sighed. I knew it was wrong, but it bothered me that she seemed to care for her sister more than me. I followed behind Emily, only to see her standing in shock.
(Emily's pov)
I walked closer to her body. She had a knife in her hand and she was breathing. I quickly noticed that surrounding her were two zombies. My eyes widened. Drew stared from behind, quickly turning away when I glanced at him. I ran to Kate and searched her body for marks. Surprisingly she was untouched. I shoke her body waiting for her to wake up.
(Kate's pov)
As I breathed heavily, I suddenly felt the shaking of my body. Slowly, I sat up in confusion. I saw Emily sitting next me. She stared at me in fear. I was confused as to why. I pulled her into a hug. I looked over her shoulder and saw Drew. He stared at me. I gave him a death stare. Drew quickly turned away. Suddenly I remembered. Drew took Emily away from me, when she should've been here, and comes back expecting me to forgive him. I nearly lost my life thanks to him. I finally pulled away from Emily and she smiled with happiness.
(Emily's pov)
"Are you ok?" I asked.
"I'm fine." She replied. "While you were out with your boyfriend, I was protecting myself and our base."
I was shocked by Kate's response, but I knew it was true. All I could say was "I'm sorry...I truly am."
Kate just stared. She showed no emotion as she slowly stood up and climbed back up the tree. I stared at her.
(Kate's pov)
I sat on the tree. Ignoring Emily's stare, I pretended to go through my bag. Finally, after what seemed like hours, she looked down and walked to Drew. They were whispering. All I could make out was "You shouldn't have come back." and "You always tear me away from someone...FUCK YOU!" I noticed the sudden fear on Drew's face as I stared at them. Drew looked at me and I gave him a piece of my mind. I quickly gave him the middle finger and turned away before Emily turned my way. She walked away from Drew, who still looked shocked, and called me.
"Kate?!" She yelled. "Can we go for a walk?"
I turned towards her and nodded. She grabbed her bag and so did I as I got down from the tree. Emily held my hand as we both walked away from Drew. I gave him one last glance and stuck my tongue out at him. I mouthed the words "Leave us alone." and saw his face change into a guilty expression. I turned foward as me and my sister walked off into the distance.
