I don't remember when we fell asleep. I woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside the window. I stretched my limbs and smiled as I realized that I was in Jea-eon's arms. He was still asleep, his breathing deep and even.
I gently slipped out of bed and headed to the bathroom to freshen up. When I returned to the bedroom, Jea-eon was already stirring.
"Good morning," I said.
"Good morning," he murmured, his eyes still half-closed.
"What's on the agenda for today?" I asked.
"Well, it's Saturday, so I was thinking we could have a lazy day at home. Maybe I could make us some breakfast?" he suggested.
My stomach growled at the mention of food. "That sounds amazing. What are you thinking of making?"
"I was thinking some kimchi pancakes?" Jea-eon said, getting up from bed and stretching his arms.
I smiled, feeling grateful for Jea-eon's thoughtfulness. I got up from bed and followed him to kitchen, watching as he pulled out ingredients and started to work his culinary magic.
As Jea-eon cooked, I helped set the table. After that there wasn't much to do for me, so I grabbed a book which was in my backpack and sat on the couch.
Jae-eon leaned against the doorframe, watching me as I sat on the couch, lost in a book.
"What are you reading, Nabi?" he asked, his voice low and husky.
I looked up, startled by his sudden appearance. "Just some book," I said, trying to sound casual.
Jae-eon stepped closer, his eyes locked on hers. "What's it about?"
I glanced down at the cover, trying to remember. "It's a romance novel," I said, feeling a blush rise in my cheeks.
Jae-eon grinned. "Oh, a romance novel. That sounds... interesting."
I couldn't help but notice the way he emphasized the word "interesting," his voice dripping with seduction.
"What's so interesting about it?" I asked, trying to keep my tone light.
"Well," Jae-eon said, his eyes never leaving mine, "I'm just curious. Is the hero of the novel as charming and handsome as I am?"
I felt my heart skip a beat at his words. I knew that Jae-eon was teasing me, but I couldn't help but feel a thrill at his flattery.
"I don't know," I said, trying to play along. "I haven't gotten to that part yet."
Jae-eon stepped even closer, his breath warm against my skin. "Well, let me know when you do," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "Maybe I can give him a run for his money."
I felt my cheeks grow hot at his words. I knew that Jae-eon was flirting with me, but I couldn't help but feel drawn to him, like a moth to a flame.
"You're impossible," I said, trying to sound annoyed.
"But you love it," Jae-eon said, his voice full of confidence. "You love the way I tease you, the way I make you feel."
I couldn't deny that he was right. I did love the way he made me feel, the way he could make my heart race with just a few words.
"You're such a flirt," I said, trying to sound nonchalant.
Jae-eon leaned in even closer, his lips almost touching mine. "And you love it," he whispered, his breath hot against my skin. "You love the way I make you feel, the way I can make you forget about everything else."
I couldn't help but feel a shiver run down my spine at his words. I knew that I shouldn't let him get to me like this, but I couldn't help it. Jae-eon had a way of making me feel things I had never felt before.
"Maybe," I said, my voice barely audible.
Jae-eon grinned. "I knew it," he said, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "I knew that you couldn't resist me."
I couldn't deny that he was right. I couldn't resist him, no matter how hard I tried.
Jae-eon's eyes never left mine, and I found myself getting lost in their depth. I felt a magnetic pull towards him, and I couldn't help but lean in closer.
"You know," Jae-eon said, his voice low and soft, "I think you're even more beautiful than the heroine of that book."
I felt a blush rise in my cheeks at his compliment. I didn't know how to respond, but before I could think of anything, Jae-eon spoke again.
"In fact," he continued, "I think you're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen."
I couldn't believe that Jae-eon was saying these things to me. I had never felt so flattered in my life.
Jae-eon reached out and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.
"I hope you know how special you are," he whispered. "And how much I want you."
My breath caught in my throat at his words. I had never heard anyone speak to me like this before, and I didn't know how to respond.
Jae-eon leaned in closer, his lips almost touching mine. "I want to kiss you," he whispered, his voice barely audible.
My heart raced as I looked into his eyes. I knew that I shouldn't give in to him, but I couldn't help it. I wanted him too.
Without thinking, I leaned in and pressed my lips to his. The kiss was soft at first, but quickly became more passionate as Jae-eon deepened it.
I felt a surge of electricity run through my body as we kissed, and I knew that I was in deep trouble. I had never felt like this before, and I didn't know how to handle it.
Somehow I stopped perceiving our surroundings. All I felt was Jae-eon's tongue in my mouth and his hands in my hair. When he kissed me like that, I lost track of the world.
"We'll have to finish it a little later, our breakfast is getting cold," Jae-eon said with a smirk.
I rolled my eyes. He knew exactly what he was doing.
Jea-eon went into the kitchen to add some finishing touches to our meal when the doorbell rang.
He groaned in frustration as he got up to answer the door.
When he opened it, he was surprised. There was a woman standing there.
She simply said "Hi, Jea-eon," and entered the apartment.
It looked like she had been here a few times before, because no stranger would do this.
She chatted cheerfully, but her smile froze the moment she saw me sitting on the sofa with my cheeks red from the previous rush of passion.
