Your hand held mine
Warmer than the winter sunrise outside
You smiled
your crooked pearly whites blinding
You kissed me slowly, teased me into submission
Draged me into oblivion
Took me to the stars, the universe,
then brought me back to earth
Lightheaded I was
You watched me, caught in my admiration
You're breathtaking, beautiful
Was it luck?
Stuck in my euphoria
You pulled away
Winter sunrise turned to winter sunset
I couldn't stand it
I cried for the love I'd loose
My heart couldn't take it
I needed you
You were drifting
I wanted you
You were retreating
I couldn't let go
My dreams would haunt me
My visions would taunt me
My heart would bleed
My heart wouldn't let go
So I didn't let go
I held on to hope
Hope?
It would lead me home
Home?
Where my heart was.
