Notebook:You're deaf
'What..? I-I'm deaf?' Yaku looked up at the others but they all got their gaze away from the boy except Lev. Yaku would've listened to Oikawa's last wishes instead of all this. The tall half-Russian boy once again wrote something in the notebook.
Notebook:You've been in the hospital and in a coma for almost seven years now..
'Coma...?' The short boy had tears starting to fall which caused him to to cut gaze and look over the window side. He felt a warm embrace touching Yaku's hand but he hit the hand away.
Right when the hand was touching him a pain starting to form in Yaku's head. Missing pieces of what happened six years ago appeared. 'W-What's going on?!'
"Yaku-San? Are you okay?" It was Lev. The tall boy forgot Yaku couldn't hear him so instead, he grabbed the boy trying to hug him but it only had him pushed away once again by the boy in obvious pain.
"W-What's happening to him? Someone.. GO CALL A DOCTOR!"
Six years ago
After everything had gone dark, Yaku was suddenly on the hospital bed. Eyes half-opened, white light shining upon his eyes until it got blocked by a presence. There, stood a doctor along with a few more around him.
'What are they doing here? Why can't I move..?' He tried turning his head towards the door, there he saw the entire Nekoma team trying to get Lev from fighting with the nurse to come in.
'What are those idiots doing..? Whatever..I'm tired...' and just like that his eyes started to close slowly. "Quick! Check if he's breathing! Make sure his body keeps responding." It was the Doctor.
That was when Lev froze, trembling. "Y-Yaku..?! DONT CLOSE YOUR EYES! HEY!!" Kuroo was trying to stop Lev.
"Lev stop it!" The nurse finally managed to close the door shut. Lev was silent before he spoke "Why..?" Kuroo was confused yet hurt at the same time having to see one of his friends like this. "What..?"
Lev cried "Why him.. what did he do to deserve this..?" Fukunaga sighed "Lev.. I have something to a say.." Lev faced towards the team.
"Actually, it's all our fault.." Lev was struck with confusion "What? What are you talki-" Lev got cut off by the Doctor that opened the door. "Due to his biological family's death and step-fathers abusiveness his body got weak and fragile. As you can easily tell.. he hasn't been eating properly. It also seemed he hasn't been getting any sleep, he looked completely tired."
They all stood there trying to process what they had just heard. As for Lev, he tried forcing the pain away that he was feeling on the inside by clutching his fists.
"Abuse..? And by his Step-Father? " Lev thought the Teshiro spoke up "What do you mean abuse..?" The Doctor answered "I wasn't meant to mention this so the information I just gave you was as how far I could've gone. I'm sorry."
Lev clicked his tongue before he opened the door and quietly made his way in. There he saw his best friend just lying there, he was alive and breathing but it still gave Lev a sharp pain in his chest leading directly to the boy's heart.
"Why didn't you say anything..? It must've been scary right..?" The Doctor told them "In the meantime he'll be receiving food from the machines. We did all we could for now we'll take our leave."
As the Doctors and nurses left Inouka lightly touched Lev's shoulder. "We're sorry.." Inouka apologised which confused Lev "Why are you apologising?" Inouka continued "Because of us he.."
Shibayama could be seen on the verge of tears "I-If we d-didn't.." Lev glanced over a them as he took a seat next to Yaku.
"What? What are you trying to say..?" Kenma decided to explain everything excluding the crush Yaku had on Lev.
"Ok.." is all that Lev had which shocked them, "W-What? Just okay?!" Fukunaga said before Kia spoke "Your not mad at us..?" Lev answered "Yes I am. I'm actually furious now. I want to punch all of you to where you all came from. I don't care if you're my upper-classmen."
The cold way Lev had said it sent shivers down their spines. "I see.." is all Teshiro managed to say due to shock "But.." Lev started.
Yamamoto said "Yes..?" Lev raised his head up, looking out the window the beautiful moonlight shining upon the boy in a coma. "Yaku-San wouldn't like that.. besides.. he always thinks of others before himself."
This left everyone speechless, "He'll wake up soon I know it..! Hope you have a nice rest Chipmunk.."
Back in present time.
"He's alright, the missing pieces are coming back." The Doctor announced Yamamoto asked "What do you mean 'missing pieces'?"
"His memories from six years ago." The Doctor answered "He remembers?" Lev said shocked "Yes, which is quite rare." The Doctor said. "Rare?" Kuroo said, the Doctor nodded "Yes, because most people don't retrieve their memories within a single day. Even better yet a few minutes."
Lev smiled "I see." Yaku spoke in a weak voice "L-Lev..?" Then Lev heard a kid "Papa!" Lev quickly turned around facing the door.
He got up having Yaku confused. "Ah.." Kuroo said then Yukina came into the room "We came to see Yaku..I heard he was awake.." Lev nodded "Oh yeah he is.." the kid spoke out again "Papaaa." Lev smiled at him "Hey, hey Kitty. Do you want to meet him now?"
The Kid named 'Kanatõ' nodded 'Who's that kid..? And is that.. Y-Yukina..?' Yaku saw Lev come closer with a kid in his arms. 'Is it his..? That can't be Yukina.. right..? He looks like Lev.. but I'm j-just seeing things r-right..?'
"I-" before Yaku could speak Lev showed him the notebook .
Notebook:Meet my son! And Yukina came to see you..
