YASSREEN GARCIA would always be quiet and timid. at some point, her parents thought something was wrong with her. though they were concerned, she seemed to enjoy being by herself and was grateful for whatever was given to her.
well, that sort of changed. yassreen began to talk more, create friends. enjoy the life of being young, wild, and free. she loved the life of outerbanks. until.. she had to move to new york with her parents in the 3rd grade, because they quote on quote, "wanted a change".
yassreen hated it. she hated every bit of it. but she put up with it and grew up in the city. she became timid and quite again. not liking the city at all.
enough of that. guess you're wondering how yassie got back to obx and blah blah blah. well,her parents decided to go missing. yea cliche or whatever, but they left without a trace seemed like. they were suppose to visit obx for a 'business trip'. yassie now had to move in with her aunt Lola. she thought she would continue her awful depressing life alone, no friends, with her cat blue. on the bright side her aunt was rich. very rich.
but anywho, the teen wouldn't believe it if you told her she would be on a treasure hunt for 400 million worth of gold with friends that were a group of outcasts like her, find the love of her life, along with on the search for her missing parents. yeah, sounds crazy. well at least she doesn't have to drown in her loneliness anymore, right?
