I stood in the corner of the room, clutching a red-cup as I glared at the asshole in the ghost face costume. He noticed my gaze and began to approach me before a group of friends got in between us and I walked in the other direction. I slammed myself into the bathroom and sighed before turning around. Ethan stared at me with wide eyes, washing his hands in the sink.
"Sorry," I mumbled opening the door and exiting.
Mindy and Anika were being all lovey dovey on the couch as I stood against next to the wall. Chad stood next to me, muttering about the guy in the ghost face costume.
"I'll beat the shit out of him I swear," Chad muttered.
"Well I'm overdue to get drunk, see you later," I said as I walked towards the kitchen.
I grabbed a new cup, and filled it with beer from the keg. Bitter, but sure to do the job. I pulled a sour face as a girl in a Harry Potter costume approached me.
"Hey I love your costume."
Ethan's POV:
I stood against the wall with Chad as he loudly encouraged me to ask someone out.
"Look at you man you're a snack. Like look at y/n over there." I smiled upon her appearance.
She was softly laughing with a girl, and her sweet laugh filled the room. Even with the loud music blaring. She had this dazzling smile, and dimples on each side of her cheeks. She just radiated joy. It was so strange so see her like this. Happy. She's usually a very reserved, secretive person but I guess the alcohol just brought out this side of her.
"She's gorgeous."
"I know man so ask her out."
I turned to look at him.
"No way,"
"You're a snack man. An entire meal,"
"No way,"
"Just do it man"
"I can't"
"Do it," he said shoving me jokingly.
"Shut up," I laughed at him and gazed back toward her.
Anika Pov:
I approached Chad and Ethan, with Mindys arm lazily slung over my shoulders.
"Hey guys, where's y/n?" I asked speaking loudly over the music.
Can't take my eyes off of you started playing loudly and I leaned closer to hear him talk.
"I don't know! I haven't seen her," he shouted over the music.
Cheering loudly fills the room as I look over to y/n, laughing loudly and dancing with people. Jumping, and swaying to the music.
"Chad can you go check on her please," Mindy requested, as he nodded.
Y/n Pov:
I'm dancing with a big group of people, when Chad approaches me.
"Hey Margot, how you doing?" He questioned.
"I'm great!!" I yelled over the music pulling him by the hands over to dance with me. Next thing you know we are jumping and laughing together, and I gesture Ethan over to dance with us.
"Evan!!" I yell. He comes over shyly.
