“Ada you dont get it!” Leon shouted, as the figure with a red dress had started walking away.
The figure sighed and turned her head around. “Leon, I do, I have to go.”
Leon paced forwards. “Ada I love you,” He stopped a few feet away from her. His hand only a tiny bit stretched out, a pained and sad look on his handsome face.
If Ada was surprised it didn’t show on her face. “Cute,” she smiled, turned her head back around and started walking away again.
Leon stood in place, watching the woman he had fallen for walk away, even after his confession of love. “Ada….” he whispered to the winds.
The woman had to keep herself from crying out to Leon, that she too had feelings for him. But no, she couldn’t. It was better this way, she reminded herself. Ada’s work would not have worked for their relationship. No, she couldn’t be with him, he was better off safe without her.
