The school let you have a week break to stay with your mother ever since your father passed away. It seemed like she was getting better but you? You weren't doing to hot yourself. Mrs. Midoriya and her son would come check up on you and your mom, but every time  they came over, you would lock yourself in your bedroom avoiding Deku.

Your mother knew about what happened at the dance, she held you as you cried to her about what happened. Your fathers funeral was coming soon, and you knew a lot of people were going to be there and you knew one of them would be Deku so you weren't excited.

I heard my mom knock on my bedroom door, "come in" she walked in with a letter in her hand

"Hi honey.... The guys that your father worked with said they found this letter in his hero suit." I took the envelop, it had my name on it. "I'm sure this is meant for you" my mother explained.  I nodded before opening the envelop up.

"Hi darling by the time you read this letter, it means I passed away. I knew this day was coming but you and your mother just have to accept moving forward without me. I knew the LOV were on my butt when I started working with All Might trying to stop All for One. You see Izuku Midoriya is being targeted by him and I sacrificed myself to give the kid and you guys more time. He won't stop until he finally gets Izuku, I'm sorry that this is selfish of me to ask but I need you to protect Izuku with all you got. One day he's going to be a great hero, and the world is going to need him even with me or you or anyone else who's helping him is not around anymore. You're making me proud y/n

You chuckled a little after you finished reading the letter. okay dad I'll help you out one more time.

It was the day of his funeral and a lot of people came to say their last goodbyes to your father. A lot of your classmates and pro hero's came as well as some news reporters. Everyone dressed in black including you and your mother. In the background you see All Might and Izuku standing together in the way back.

After the ceremony ended you stood next to his grave as people were leaving and talking to your mother. You see All Might stand right next to you "young y/n im sorry for your loss..."

"It's okay, I don't really know what to say" you told him without looking at him "also I know about you and Deku"

He started to nod "I'm sorry you had to find out that way"

Now I was staring at him, "I promise you All Might that I will protect Midoriya and help him reach to the top" I could tell that I caught him off guard. He smiled at me before turning his attention back to my fathers tombstone.

The following Monday when you returned back to the dorm you found out that Midoriya left U.A.
