"Alright guys, Breakfast!" Maddie called to the whole house. Liz still sleeping in her bed, she was slightly startled when she heard her call. Liz had crazy and frizzy hair, and tired eyes. She groaned then planted her body back on her bed. Too tired to even get up, or get breakfast. The whole point of summer break to her was to sleep in. Sleep was very therapeutic to her, and helps her escape and clear her mind.

Getting back under the covers, she heard Maddie's voice downstairs. "Sonic, can you go see if your sister's awake?"
"My god." Liz said in her pillow, now feeling a gust of wind knowing it's her annoying hedgehog of a brother. "Bee." He said. She felt him shake her shoulder. "Bee, Maddie told me to see if you're awake. Breakfast is ready." He shook her once more. Liz slightly opened her eyes, then groaned now rolling over on the other side of her bed. "Ugh, leave me alone." She said, now trying to get some shut eye once more.

But was completely disturbed when the covers where swiftly pulled off the bed in less than a second. Liz immediately got up, eyes wide. "Hey! What the—why?" She exaggerated. "You can't stay in bed all summer yea know?" Sonic said, placing a hand on his hip.

"Actually I can, and I will if you stop bothering me all the time." Liz crossed her arms. "So You comin' down or nah?" Sonic asked her. "Yeah yeah, give me one second." She said, slowly slipping out of bed while sonic dashed down stairs. After she took her time to wake up a little. She walked out of her room and down stairs, walking into the kitchen to get some orange juice. "Morning Minty." Liz looked up to see tails sitting at the dining table, with a plate of bacon, eggs, and pancakes. Looking at her with a fuzzy smile.

Liz smiled back at him as she grabbed a cup from the cabinet. "Morning Tails." She said, pouring the juice in.
Now walking over, sitting next to Tails in an empty seat.
Liz rubbed her eyes before she could take a sip of her juice.
"Ah, someone has finally come back from the dead." Tom joked, Liz glanced at him in the corner of her eye.
"Hehe haha." She sarcastically laughed, noticing theirs a plate of her own breakfast sitting right in front of her.

As much as she wanted to eat it, she slightly pushed the plate away, and Maddie noticed it. "You're not hungry?" She asked. "Uh, sure." Liz answered, taking a sip of her juice.
"But don't humans also need to eat food in order to live?" Knuckles asked, sitting next to Maddie. "Yeah, but that doesn't mean I have to eat all day."

"Well, you can't skip breakfast." She smiled. "Yeah Bee, you can't just starve yourself." Sonic added, pointing at her with his fork. "No one was talking to you, like actually." Liz said, clapping her fingers together as if to keep him quiet. "Hey, be nice." Maddie reminded.  Liz just rolled her eyes, taking a sip of her juice. She looked over to Tails, seeing him using his tablet looking thing under the table. Some sort of blue print of the airplane they had parked in the garage. "What are you doing?" She whispered, hoping Maddie wouldn't hear her. But yet she did.

"Tails, what did we say, no electronics at the table. You can work on your plane latter." Maddie reminded. Tails sighed in defeat, putting the tablet on the kitchen counter top. The table was silent for a strong moment. "So, me and Maddie are going to go out for dinner later tonight." Tom said, picking at his food with his fork. Liz looked up, her brows scrunched. "What?" She asked. "We won't be gone long, we just need some adult time." Maddie said, wrapping her hand around Toms.

They really treating her like she stupid.

"Which means that you three have to protect her." Maddie said, pointing at sonic, knuckles and tails.

"Make sure the doors are locked, and There's leftovers from last night in the fridge." Tom finished. "We won't let you guys down!" Sonic exclaimed, as Liz got up from her chair in rage. "I can protect myself thank you very much." She gave a fake smile, walking into the kitchen and pouring out the rest of her juice. She then walked back to the table and stopped at the end of it. "Anyway, I was hoping I could walk to the store and buy some stuff." Liz asked Maddie.

"No, not by yourself." Maddie shook her head. "Why? Is it because I'm a girl?" She asked. "Yes." Maddie replied.
Liz shook her head. "Wow, that's really sexist." Liz complained. "Well, if you're going by yourself, then at least take Sonic with you—o-or tails, knuckles maybe?" Maddie said, giving her some options. "How about I take a weapon instead?" Liz joked with a blank face, hand on her hip.

"got a taser?" Liz asked Maddie. "OH! I got one!" Tails raised his hand. "Yes! Give me!" Liz ordered, holding her hands out ready to catch it. Tails grabbed his little yellow backpack from underneath the table, unzipping and reaching in to grab the taser. It was small enough to fit in his hand, yellow with his own logo. He tossed it to Liz with a smile, and she caught it with ease.

"Ha! thanks broski, love you!" She waved as she made her leave, Maddie tried to stop her but she was already up stairs.
Now all sitting in silence. "What is a 'Broski'?" Knuckles asked. But they had no idea how to answer.

                                        ...

Liz sat on her bed, comfortably drawing on her sketch book. With just a pencil, blender, and a eraser. Shes been in her bed since morning, and it's now two in the afternoon.
Liz had recently wrapped a black and white Durag on her head to keep her bangs out of her face. The tail of it down to her full neck. She then suddenly heard a little knock on the door.

"Come in!" She said. She heard the door knob turn, and the door creaking open. "Hey Minty." Liz heard, causing her to look up seeing Tails. Now having a small smile form.
"Hey little bro," she said, now looking back at her sketch.
Tails walked over to her bed, climbing up the sheets scooting next to her. "Whatcha drawing?" He asked.

"Billie." She chuckled. "Again? I don't get why you're obsessed with her." Tails rolled his eyes. "And I don't get why you're so obsessed with Sonic." She grinned, shoving his fluffy shoulder jokingly. Tails just shook his head, and watched Liz draw. "That's really good!" He said amazed.
"Thanks." She smiled.

Tails got a little tired of sitting up, so he decided to lean against his sisters shoulder. "Hey Minty," Tails catching Billies attention, she was all ears. "Yes?" "Why do you hate Sonic?" Tails asked, concerned on how she thinks of him.
Lizzie sighed. "Oh Tails, I don't hate him." She shook her head, as she stroked the fur on his head. "He just gets on my nerves sometimes." She said. "But I still love him. Even though I refuse to admit it." She chuckled, Tails slightly laughing.

"Well, I just wanted to say hi. I'm gonna go work on my plane." He said. "Alright." Liz suddenly put Tails in a head lock, then started giving him a noogie on his fluffy head.
"Okay, okay alright let me go!" He laughed, begging for mercy. Lizzie finally let go of him. He slipped off her bed, then onto his feet. He walked over to the door, his tails swinging with his movement.

"Oh wait, make sure you—" she tried to remind him to close the door. But he already left. Lizzie groaned, falling onto her pillows. She didn't feel like walking over and closing the door. So she just let it be, and continued drawing.
