"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?" I have the strange blonde boy pressed against the wall. His sapphire eyes are glowing in amusement. I really wonder what he was finding funny.
"The pretty girl knows," he looks at Louise and smiles cheekily, giving me the urge to snap his neck, right and left.
I glance at Louise and notice the dreadful expression on her face. She stands next to me and places her hand over mine, staring straight into my eyes.
"Let me do the honour of breaking his jaw, Alex," she smiles at me.
I laugh at her words, nodding in agreement and taking a step back. I would do anything she says. "Of course, mon amour."
Louise Lennox was the epitome of violence. She made her violent moves seem elegant, and that to me was something only she was capable of doing.
I stand right next to her, although she didn't need me, I wanted to be here and everywhere she was.
"Who's that, darling?" The blonde grins, pointing at me. "Your personal bodyguard?"
She digs her heel into his shoe and smiles. "More than that, sweetheart, but it is none of your business," she scoffs. "Who the hell are you?"
"You don't know?" The blonde arches a brow, groaning in pain.
"I don't waste my time learning useless people's names," she says.
"I'm not useless," he defends. I glance at him, inspecting his face. He did seem useless, nothing but a pretty boy.
"Who's this blondie?"
"Jay-Jay, my man!" I grin as the curly head jogs up to me and struggles to wrap his arm around my shoulder. I was the tallest among my friends, followed by Davie. Louise, Daphne and Jay were the same height, making Celine the shortest.
"Alex, why is Louise doing your job?" Jay narrows his eyes at me. "I know that she is the dominant one between you—."
"Jay, shut that pretty little mouth of yours and come here," Louise orders. "This blondie called me his fiancée."
Jay gasps. "How dare he! My Lou-Lou only has—." I slap my hand over his mouth and push him forward.
"You look familiar," he narrows his eyes. "Maybe because you have blonde hair like half the students at this academy."
"Jay..." Louise says warningly. "Do you know him?"
"...No," he shakes his head. "Who the hell are you, dude?"
The blonde rolls his eyes. "I told them already! I'm her fiancé!"
"Who on earth is third-wheeling my favourite soon-to-be couple?"
"Thank you, Celine!" I smile. "My words exactly."
Celine Blackwell has her pretty brown eyes narrowed at the boy. Though she was small compared to us, she was quite capable of hurting anyone.
"What is going on?"
"Davie, my man!" I grin, opening my arms to the little green-eyed devil. He doesn't hug me at first but then he does, only because I pulled him.
"I thought I was your man, Alex!" I hear Jay scoff. "You're a player, always breaking my heart."
"Aw, don't be sad, Jay." I coo. "I'm big enough to be shared among the two of you."
"Don't all you have classes to attend?"
Now, the group was assembled.
Miss Daphne Harrington is frowning at all of us, disappointed visible in her hazel eyes. I don't know why but I could never disrespect Daphne, maybe it was because she was the oldest among us, or because she radiated authority.
Either way, she deserves the utmost respect and if someone were to not comply to that, then they should expect the worst from me, for I do not tolerate the closest people to me being treated lowly.
"Oh, the school police is here." Jay murmurs.
"I don't arrest my friends, Jay-Jay," she laughs, "Now, who's this pretty boy? He looks familiar."
"Do you know him?" We all ask.
Daphne steps closer to Louise, placing her hand on her shoulder as she stares at the blonde. A smile blooms on her lips as she brushes her fingers against the the blonde boy's cheek.
"Spencer Ambrose, how pleasant to meet you like this."
