The sun was shining brightly with the cool breeze surrounding Leveni. She had just finished a long journey and was dying to go home. Remembering it was her boyfriend's birthday, she pushed all thoughts of going home and quickly went to go look for a present for him.
She was ransacking through different shops but to her utmost dismay, she could not find anything her boyfriend could love and cherish. Plodding back home with empty hands, Leveni was in unbearable guilt. Just as she thought it was impossible to redeem herself, she remembered that there was a nearby florist shop located a few blocks down her home. Not having anywhere else to go, she took this opportunity and tried to make the best of it. She tentatively looked for the one in this shop full of delicate, colorful floral. There were many options to pick from and Leveni was in deep thought if what to pick. She eventually narrowed it down to the bright pink flower, the Peony, which released a beautiful aroma of which was an inquisite smell. She payed for the flowers and exited the shop while sunshine filled her once dull soul.
Reaching home in a cheerful manner, Leveni reached for her key and started to unlock her door. Once she had opened it, she saw the unbelievable. A tall lady with Ash-brown hair was in a blue dress getting ready to leave the premises. The lady's jaw fell in shock and she tried to explain what had happened, " I swear, this is not what it looks like! I was just a colleague of Bret."
Not convinced to her claims, Leveni dashed into her bedroom and found Bret shirtless laying on his bed. Seeing this, the bouquet of flowers Leveni was holding fell to the ground and she started dashing off. She left the house sobbing uncontrollably realising the man she had trusted had betrayed her. She ran and ran not even knowing where she had stumbled upon to. Leveni finally found a small bench near a park and took a seat after her long run. She checked her notifications on her phone and found many unread messages and calls. But Leveni was so heartbroken to the point she couldn't even think of ways to continue on. All she could do was cry and cry.
The morning came, and the Leveni was in a dull, gloomy mood. She looked around her and found many children playing but even that could not bring a smile on her face. Leveni looked up at the sky, still pondering on what she could do but to no avail, it was pointless. Leveni decided to live on these streets for as long as she could possibly could to stay away from Bret.
Leveni even had to sleep in the cold night with no blanket. While on her third day of staying at the park, she went to a nearby cafe to purchase some pastries when she suddenly saw a familiar face. It was Bret, but this time sitting alone with no company. Bret looked at Leveni and hopped out of his seat to run to her. Leveni was crying at the sight of Bret but knew that if she continued her love with him, it would only create more toxic feelings. Bret begged and begged for Levina to get back with him but he failed no matter how hard he tried. Levina, curious as to why Bret was so desperate for her asked, " Why are you so desperate to get back with me, don't u have that tall pretty girl?"
Bret's head tilted down in guilt and said that that girl had ended their relationship after finding about out affair. Levina declined with a strong no and left Bret to fight for his own. But Levina still could not hold back her tears once reaching to the bench again. Now, Levina has to fight for her own as well and not fall for the same mistake again.
