CALUM'S POV
Just few hours before our turn to make the arena wild. Our front act, Before You Exit is now on their way to the stage. Well, they're a nice band and they're brothers! Connor, Riley, and Toby McDonough are great persons and they are also talented. Funny, because it was Chandice who told us about them actually. Well, Chandice loves music and she listens to them so much and asked me if they could open up for us. We checked on the band and their lively teenage music is really good, so we asked our management if they can open up for us and they agreed. I remember seeing Chandice's smile when I told her the news about BYE opening up for us. That was one of the most beautiful smiles she had and I'm so grateful to somehow be a part of that smile.
We're getting ready at the backstage right now. This is really it, just a few hours before the tour ends and before I can see Chandice again. God, I miss her so much.
"Hey man, relax. I know you miss Chandice, but just a few hours. Lets first enjoy this show tonight and lets all rock," Ashton said. Well, he's right. I need to enjoy this show. We need to make this last show on tour epic!
KELLY'S POV
I'm still outside the arena, maybe I'm waiting for a miracle to happen. I walked around to somehow drift from my misfortune today. I'm in the middle of I-dont-know when Kristel called me.
"Hello? Kel, where are you?," she asked. She's screaming at the phone because it's so noisy inside the arena. People are yelling while somebody's singing.
"Hi Kristel! Uhm. I don't really know where am I. I just walked around the arena. Don't worry I'm fine," I told her.
"I know you are not," she said. I just let out a heavy sigh.
"RILEEEEEEEEYYYYY!" Someone shouted in the background.
"Hey, is that Roda's voice? Oh my God. Is BYE singing now?!" I asked as I heard a familar tune from inside the arena.
"Yeah, and they're making the crowd wild," Kristel said. I can still hear Roda and Joval shouting like crazy. Oh, it feels good that they're enjoying, while me? Got more miserable.
"I called you to hear them sing. I know how you wanted to see them and hear the live. Here, listen," Kristel said. I was right, it's Before You Exit. They are 5SOS's opening act for this tour. Well, it's also one of the reasons why I wanted to see the concert because I like BYE too, and Connor is my bias. They are singing Dangerous and I can hear the crowd has gone wild I guess just by their screams, it grew louder. I can hear fans singing back their lyrics and I am too.
"She's so Dange-"
The line was cut. Fuck. My baterry is dead, I got so bored so I played at my phone and now, I forgot my power bank. I'm so stupid. I kicked my foot high in the air my shoe came out of my feet and flew. So much misfortunes for today. I don't know where it landed, so I searched for it. I don't know where the hell I am, I just need to find my shoe.
"Shoe? Where are youuuuuuu?," I'm really stupid. I'm calling my shoe to come to me as if it will walk to come back to me.
I'm so hopeless. I sat down and I let all the misfortunes leave me for a while. Fuck. I think this day isn't really my day.
CALUM'S POV
Well, BYE just finished their act and it's our turn now. Before climbing up the stage, we talked at hugged each other like what we do everytime.
"Okay, let's make tonight's show one of the best," Michael let out. "YEEEEEES!" Ashton raised his drumsticks. "Let's do this!" Luke said. "Come on! Let's make our fans happy," I blurted. And one by one we climbed up the stage.
Nothing can never replace the feeling of going on stage and singing for people who loves our music. It's like at first, you can feel your heart about to loose control and escape from your chest because you're nervous, but when you see fans screaming and singing our songs, it's like the most calming experience ever. More than the adrenaline, it gives us inspiration to continue what we do. It gives us motivation to make ourselves better musicians.
