The "bad boy"

Sooyoung was sitting outside still, the
officer had just gotten done with the
questions he was asking him, and he
Had some tears on his face. Repeating
what happened was pretty hard for him
right now.. he was still really shocked,
and just downright hurt, both mentally,
and physically. He heard Jimin step out
but he kept his gaze down at the table as
ne didn't want to look at Jimin with tears
on his face again.

Jimin sniffled a few times and wiped at
his eyes, feeling a headache coming on
from having cried all night and day. He
looked over at Sooyoung, seeing him
with his head down, making him worry. He walked over to him slowly. "Sooyoung?" He whispered, gently placing his hand on the others shoulder.

When Jimin came over and put his hand
on his shoulder, Sooyoung couldn't help but
look at him. He turned his head towards
him slowly before he wrapped his arms
around him and hugged him tightly. "I.
am okay.." He said quietly and sniffled slightly, closing his eyes. "Just kinda.
hard.. repeating what happened.." he
whispered.

Jimin sighed sadly but smiled, glad that
he was okay. He hugged him back tightly
and rubbed his back. "I know it must
be..but it's needed to know where to go
from here." he said, kissing the others
head. He turned towards Officer Bane, "so
what's next." he asked quietly, wondering
what they were going to do with yoongi.

Sooyoung sighed and nodded his head
a little bit. "I know." He said quietly and
opened his eyes again as he glanced at
the officer.
Bane gave a small smile. "Well, I talked
to Sooyoung about what happened.. and
got his opinion on things. What Yoongi
did was wrong, that is for sure. But.. He
said, glancing at Sooyoung, who nodded
his head slightly. Bane cleared his throat.
'Sooyoung has decided that he is not
going to press charges on Yoongi, so
we will be letting him free. But we will be
having a police officer at Sooyoungs at
night for a few nights to make sure this doesn't happen again."

Jimin temsed up as he was ready to
hear how long yoongi would have to
go to jail for, but when he heard that
sooyoung wasn't pressing charges his
eyes went wide. He slowly let go of him
and looked at him. "Are you sure this is
what you want sooyoung?" He asked a
bit concerned he wasn't thinking about
his safety and was only worried about
what he would think.

Sooyoung looked up at Jimin as he
pulled away, nodding his head slowly.
"Yes.. I mean.. I am still scared.. i don't
know if it will happen again or not.. but
he's your best friend, I know it will hurt
you more if he ends up having to be
locked up in jail.. and i promised you
wouldn't hurt you." He said and looked
down at the ground. "And.. on top of that,
we're still young.. I don't want him to
waste his high school years behind bars.
if he were to go to jail, he'd probably
be in there for at least 5 or 10 years for this
type of offense." He said quietly. "I don't
want to put you through that, or him as a
matter of fact.' He said quietly.

Jimin looked at him, shocked at how
selfless he could be even in such an
extreme situation like the one they were
in. "Yes, he is my best friend and of course
i wouldn't want to see him in jail, but he
still committed a very serious crime.
I've already told him that if you decide
to press charges, i won't stop you, so..
ask once more.. Are you sure this is what
you want?" He asked softly. Ofcourse he
would love for yoongi to not have to be in
jail, but he didn't want sooyoung living in
fear either.

Sooyoung listened to what Jimin said,
and even though he understood that
even Jimin was afraid for him as well,
when he makes up his mind, that's how
it stays, so he nodded his head. "Yes,I
am sure. People need education as well,
it'll help everyone succeed in one way or
another in life.. he won't get an education
being stuck here. And like i had said
earlier, I don't want him to be stuck
behind bars for that long.. He might not
like me, but I still care, and I don't want
him to go through that." He said softly,
giving Jimin a small, reassuring smile.
