Chapter 17 

After naming kumain ng breakfast ay tuloy tuloy na ang takbo ng yate, medyo natatanaw ko na nga ang isla at sabi niya saakin, kahit na tanaw ko na iyon ay malayo parin.

"Bakit mo kasi pinili ang route na ito, matatagalan pala tayo?". Tanong ko sa kaniya habang nakahawak sa railings ng yate. 

"To enjoy the view of the volcano, did you not enjoyed it while we were eating? I don't think so, ang dami mo kayang shots sa phone mo". Sarcastic na sabi niya. I glare at her at tumingin na sa harap. 

"May signal doon? I will post it to IG later on". Tumingin ako sa kaniya ulit.

"It's an island, cellphone is not allowed there plus magagamit mo lang iyan kung kukuha ka ng photos". Pahayag niya.

"O-okay".  Banggit ko. A minute of silence happened. At tanging tunog lang ng makina ang naririnig.

"What is your favorite food?". Bigla niyang tanong kaya nagulat ako. Now she's talkative unlike yesterday. 

"I love eating banana, it has potassium and it's healthy. I also love to eat avocado, lalo na iyong mga smoothie. Banana smoothie, avocado shakes, more on fruits. Ikaw?". I asked her.

Hindi naman pwedeng siya lang ang mag tatanong.  

"I loved to eat peanuts before. It's tasty and nutty". Pahayag niya.

"How about now?".

Hindi siya sumagot agad kaya tumingin ako sa kaniya at lumapit. I took a seat sa tabi niya at sumandal mismo sa balikat niya. 

"I still love peanuts.". Bulong niya. She's busy controlling the wheel habang ako ito, relax lang sa balikat niya. She smells good, her perfume is strong pero hindi siya masakit sa ilong. 

"Do I still look pretty without makeup? Wala kasi akong makitang make up sa drawer mo". I said and she look at me for a while.

Now she's staring at my face, nakaramdam ako ng kunting hiya but still hindi ako nag patalo sa staring contest namin.

Now I noticed how beautiful her face is, she has freckles, hindi man masyadong halata pero kapag natatamaan ng araw lalong visible. Her lower left side lip has piercing, at may maliit pa palang tattoo sa upper left side ng cheek niya. 

"Adik ka ba?". Biglang tanong ko na ikinatawa naming pareho. She averted her gaze at tyaka siya sumagot.

"I don't do drugs, alcohol pwede pa, pero ang nag aadik, that's not included in my vocabulary, adik sayo okay pa". Pambobola  niya.

"To answer your question, yes. You're still the prettiest girl in my eyes even without make up". And then she winked at me.

"Bola, nag ka jowa kana ba before?". I asked her out of curiosity.

"Jowa?". She asked me confused.

"Oo, jowa? Hindi mo alam? Naging jowa means ex girlfriend or boyfriend?". Natatawang sabi ko.

"Ow, so that's jowa. I dated someone before but it didn't work out so after that night we decided to part ways and forget each other". Kwento niya. 

"Is she beautiful?". Tanong ko pa.

"Yes, she's a Mexican girl.  She has a beautiful smile". Ayun nag day dream na siya.

"But you're way more beautiful than her, I never imagined that a half filipina and Chinese can be this beautiful". I looked at the deserted area to hide my redden cheeks. 

"I hate you yesterday but now I'm starting to like you". I just confess my feelings towards this girl. 

"I like you the first time I saw you to be honest". I slap her shoulder and we both share a laugh. 

"Then what is your favorite flowers?". She asked me.

Nag isip ako panandalian at tumingin sa kaniya. I am now staring at her side details, her nose is so pointed at kung gusto ko mang mag ka- anak kami, I want her nose to be inherited by my future baby.  

Bigla akong napa- padyak dahil sa nasa isip ko, kakakilala lang namin ng maayos anak agad ang nasa isip ko? 

"Sunflower always makes me smile. I love yellow and brown.". Pahayag ko.

"You, do you even like flowers?". I asked her back..

"Naka kita ka na ba ng actual crimson roses? Rare lang siya but for me it is the coolest flower that I've ever seen.". She said.

"Sa internet lang ako nakakakita ng crimson rose. How about your favorite color?". I asked.

"I love crimson color. It gives me peace and hope, right now I am praying that I could find my light".  napangiti ako.

"Look at the sun, that's the light that you're looking for". Bulong ko sabay turo sa araw.

"It could be you.". Bulong niya pabalik.

After she said that hindi na ako nag salita at nanuod nalang sa pag galaw ng yate sa ibabaw ng tubig.

Nagulat pa kami at tumigil sa gitna nang may napansin kaming nag lalarong mga dolphins. 

"I envy them so much!". I shouted.

"They are free and they have a huge play ground". Sigaw niya pabalik. Medyo mag kalayo kasi kami this time. Mayroon siyang inaayos sa likuran..

"No! I envy them because they know how to swim!". Sigaw ko ulit, after a minute of silence narinig ko ang tawa niya kaya napatingin ako sa direction kung saan siya.

"What's the matter?!". I asked her.

"You envy them because they can swim? It's their nature. Bakit hindi ka ba marunong lumangoy?". Tanong niya saakin..

Lumapit na siya dala ang camera.

"Quick! Mamaya aalis na ang mga yan. Smile, one, two, three!". And then she clicked the button.

"Isa pa Miss Aya". Nag pose ako habang turo turo ang mga dolphins hanggang sa may lumabas ulit na film tape sa camera.

"May I see".  Lumapit ako sa kaniya at sabay kaming nag hintay sa pag litaw ng image.

I smile in satisfaction at napayakap ako sa kaniya.

"Can you teach me how to swim?". I asked her.

"Right now?". Tanong niya at tumango ako.

"Nag stop na rin naman tayo plus there's a lot of clothes and new garments downstairs. So? What do you think?". I asked her. I even showed her my puppy eyes para lang pumayag siya.

"Fine, maaga pa naman". After she said that I kiss her cheek and then I removed my dress right in front of her.

I saw her swallowed and then she immediately turn around para rin alisin ang suot niya.

Now, I am watching her, she's removing her polo. Natira lang ang suot niyang black sports bra and boxers.

My eyes couldn't fight the urge to look at her crotch area. There's a big lump and thinking about what's inside of it made me feel hot. 

"Let's go?". She asked and I immediately look up at her and showed her my goofy smile.

"Y-yes let's go".
