Chapter 27

We came early and we were welcomed by a very good looking man. And by the look on his face, and the way he smiled at me I knew already that he is Ricky. 

"What a beautiful morning to finally meet you sir and your family". He said with a cheerful smile. I know right, he's more handsome in person kaysa sa mga photos na ibinigay ni dad saakin.

"Where is your father Doctor Ricky?". My dad asked him and he said where is his father.

Hinarap niya kami ni mama and he kissed her cheek at ganun din ang ginawa niya saakin.

Nag karoon pa sila ng usapan bago na nag pasyang pumasok ang parents ko para hanapin ang director ng hospital, which is the father of Ricky. 

"So, you must be Presa Zuraya?". He asked me. Ngumiti siya and the whiteness of his teeth makes me smile too.

"And you must be the one who just saved me?". I asked him and we both laughed.

"Yes, totally I am. Would you like to have coffee? I have a coffee machine inside?". He asked me politely and I said yes right away. He is so genuine.

"So habang nag lalakad na rin lang papasok, I want you to get familiar with this hospital. And I will introduce you to the staff and doctors here". Pahayag niya at malaking tulong iyon saakin.

"This is Karlito, he's our brave body guard, 24 hours ang duty niya today and he's working here for almost ten years". Tukoy niya sa mukhang mabait na guard.

"Mang Karlito, this is Presa, our new workmate". He said. The man smiled at me and I smiled back.

After that we proceed to approach the reception area.

"This is Janice, she's responsible for accepting patients. Janice this is Presa, new nurse, but she's still a student". I said hi to Janice at she seems kind.

Marami pang tao kaming nakasalubong at lahat ng iyon ay ipinakilala ako ni Ricky. I was just thankful dahil hindi na ako mahihirapang makipag kaibigan sa iba since this man helped me to befriend them ng saglitan. 

"This is our ER room, sa second floor makikita mo naman ang mag rooms for patients, nasa kaliwang bahagi naman ang laboratory, and testing room, the mini church is here and may mga vending machine sa corner na ito".  Turo niya sa isang bahagi ng Hospital.

"Dito naman sa gilid ang mourge, dito ang station ng first group of nurse and this will be your station, at kasama mo sina Aubry". Ngumiti ako sa kaniya.

After namin malibot ang buong first floor ay dumeretso kami sa office niya.

He prepares coffee for me and he give me Spanish bread.

"That's my favorite, I hope you'll like it". Pahayag niya. And who am I to refuse. This is blessing from a handsome man. 

"Now that we have privacy, would you want to share what were you doing in Fernandez island all by yourself?". He asked me while I am sipping my coffee.

And oh, does that mean hindi niya nakita si Noris? Ito siguro iyong time na bumibili ako ng tickets and buti nalang hindi niya nakita na may kasama ako. 

"I went there with my new found friend. She said na Fiesta ng isla so that pumunta kami doon to celebrate". Sagot ko pabalik. 

"And you look beautiful last night. I really wanna talk to you and introduce myself, but I don't wanna ruin your night. You seemed happy so I decided to just wait for this moment". He said.
