"Where are we?"
A voice breaks the silence. It's another grey November day and three girls are about in the park. Though, there is more of a chill as the wind blows by again. The trees stare at the girls from their massive height as the kids wander into a forest. Sure it was almost winter, but this weather seems more suitable for December.
The sun begins to set and the clouds start to swirl. Silence echos everywhere, the only break of it being from the girls' worried footsteps.
"Ugh, don't tell me we're lost!" another voice yells, a hint of fear in her voice.
The three girls stay in the forest together, trying to stay together. It's here we find Maria and her two friends, June and Piper, stranded in a forest. Some people passed by, but they looked like nothing but black silhouettes, like the trees. It was beginning to get dark. The girls had a flashlight, but the batteries were dead. They hear nothing but some far away chatter and gusts of wind.
"We... should stick together," Maria breaks the silence.
"You think?!" June replies, annoyed.
"I'll try to find an exit. Our parents must be worried sick!"
Maria begins to lead the other two girls to a seemingly non-existent exit. This continues for a good 10 minutes. In those 10 minutes, they get more lost. Then they hear a...

The girls immediately jump at the sound. They look and see a snapped branch with a boy standing on it. His lantern shines brightly in the foggy forest.
"Hello? Are you girls okay..?" The boy asks.
