This is my first poem so bare with me it might be done wrong but please give me feed back on how to improve it. -thanks AD
She danced with life and battled with death.
Passed by everyone
Never a hello nor a goodbye was said
The smell of death hung the air
Never laughed a laugh nor Smiled a smile
Asking love were it hid, to come and play
Always it said cover your eyes count to ten

Hold out your hands
And open your eyes
What do you see love would say
I see nothing she would reply
Then child you do not love
How do you love when your alone
When not a word is said
And your filled with dread
Despair is all I see
Then take my hand love said
And I'll help you see
We are all merely a shadow of death
Filled with love to balance out the pain
Do not live your life in despair love said
Live life to the fullest
with joy and honesty
With heart break and longing
With dreams and possibility
You want change and love
Then start with a hello
Show love and compassion
and you shall receive
Do not like goodbyes
Then say see you next time
Hurtle over the obstacles life throws at you
Don't let them tear you apart
I think I understand now she says
A child plays in the sand
And children run and laugh
A man walks a dog
And a mother smiles at her baby
I walked up to the child
Smiled a smile
And I said hello ...
