your eyes opened slowly to the changing pressure in your ears. after about a 2 hour flight, you were finally about to land in denver. you sat in the window seat, squished next to the person next to you.
"attention passengers, please make sure you stow away any carry on items and put up any trays or armrests. we're making our initial descent into denver, where the local weather is 28° and the time is 10:30 pm."
you sighed at the time. the late flights were cheaper, so you tended to pick them. you had a hotel set up nearby, about a five minute walk from the airport. you decided you'd probably text craig when you landed, and maybe stan.
the plane hit the ground, your body slightly jolting forward. you looked onto the lit up runway, snow barely falling onto the dark surface. you tapped your fingers as the plane came to a stop, and the front of the plane began to grab their carry on bags.
you followed the crowd out into the denver airport, a wave of deja vu hit you. your phone vibrated as it came out of airplane mode.
most were texts from nattie and your mom, telling you to have a safe flight and to let them know when you landed, which you did. you went into your recents and hit craig's contact as you left the airport.
"hello?" craig answered. you chuckled at the way he answered his phone both times.
"hi, craig. this is y/n, incase you didn't save my number. i just landed in denver-" you walked across the street toward your hotel.
"oh, cool. you should call stan. him and kyle live in denver now."you stopped on the sidewalk, a group of people hurried past.
"kyle?" you mumbled.
"uh yeah. kyle." craig laughed.
"wow. um. yeah i'll give stan a call."
"good."you felt a pit in your stomach when you walked into the hotel. after checking in you found your room on floor 5 and settled into your bed. you pulled up stan's contact, hoping he had the same number.

"shh i'm trying to watch this-" kyle's eyes were glued onto their tv, where a documentary played.stan was about to say something else, when his phone started to ring. he pulled up his phone, seeing a face he hadn't seen in a while.
"y/n's calling me." stan spoke.kyle's attention immediately turned to stan. the sound of your name made him flinch.
"she is?""hey!" stan answered. kyle stayed alert during the conversation.
"hi stan!" you replied with a smile. "you'll never guess where i am right now."
"you're probably right."
"i'm in denver!"stan covered the bottom of his phone.
"she's here-" he whispered to kyle, who's face turned red.
"you wanna get a drink?" stan asked.
"sounds good to me. where at?" you replied.
"i'll send the address." stan said before hanging up.
"woah, what? what did she say?" kyle pried.
"we're going to the bravo." he typed out the address.
"really?" kyle's voice broke. he was secretly waiting for an invite.
