by the time you woke up, you didn't even have to look at the time to know it was late. nonetheless, you rolled over to your phone, seeing 11:12 across the screen.
you groaned loudly and shoved your face in the fluffy pillows. no doubt everyone was already hitting the slopes. you sat up and threw your legs off the side of the bed, which was higher up than your dorm bed.
hopping down, you decided to shower quickly while nobody was there. you pulled out your shower products, as well as your skincare and a speaker. you started the water, turning on your speaker and starting up your shower playlist.
you sighed as you felt the steaming hot water hit your head. you enjoyed the feeling for a while before massaging your shampoo into your scalp.
suddenly, die young by kesha came on. you smiled and waved your hips to the music. "i hear your heart beat to the beat of the drums-"

kyle laughed with his friends as he pulled his ski goggles down. he was covered in snow after being pushed over by stan.
"i'm gonna go up and check on y/n-" he shook his head and brushed some of the snow off. he unclipped his skis and tracked through the snow toward the resort.
he made his way up to your guys' room, using his keycard to get in. once he came in, he heard the shower running. he walked past the door, but stopped suddenly when he heard your voice come through.
"like we're gonna die young!" you sang loud and obnoxiously. kyle smiled as he listened to you happily scream the lyrics of the song. little did he know you were dancing in there, too.
he leaned against the door and listened to your voice, bringing an even bigger grin to his face. until you shut off the water and opened the shower door. he pulled away from the door and jumped onto the couch instead.
with your towel wrapped around your body, you opened the door, still humming. you looked up from your phone to see kyle nonchalantly just sitting on the couch.
"oh! hey kyle." you chuckled. "you weren't waiting for me, were you?" "no!" he said, a little too quickly. "relax, orphan annie." you laughed and ruffled his hair a bit before dipping into your room, with your hips swaying.
kyle let go of his breath, feeling embarrassed that he had listened to you through the door. but, it could've been worse. he tapped his fingers on his knee as you got dressed.
you came out in a blue sweater with a light blue coat over it. you wore white leggings and mittens, and a blue beanie to match your coat. you just wore your boots since you'd have to rent ski gear.
