A rumble shook the the ground, and Stiles panicked in the jeep.

"Somethings happening!"

It was dark outside by now, the temperature significantly dropped by at least twenty degrees.

"We're here." Lydia said, pointing to the church that was crumbling.

Another quake shook them, and Malia frowned. She could smell Scott, May and Braden, but there were two new smells that she couldn't recognise. And where was the scent of Skye's annoying perfume?

Stiles parked the car in front of the church and Braden ran out, with Scott following after her. He was holding a dark haired teen's arm around his shoulder.

"I think we found Derek..." Braeden announced. "But we also lost Skye and May."

"Is that him? Is that Derek?"

"Uh... Sort of..." stiles answered. "Where the hell is Skye. And May."

"Here." Came a shout. May ran out of the church just before the entrance crumbled, and a much more powerful quake shook them again. The pack grabbed onto the car for support. She was holding a passed out Skye in her arms.

"Oh my god!" Stiles exclaimed. "What happened?"

"I found her like this in a cave." May responded, pushing past the pack to place her on the backseat of the jeep.

The humans of the group lost their balance from yet another quake that shook them.

"We have to go." Braeden said. "Or we might get buried."

They agreed, packing the young Derek into the jeep. Malia sat beside Skye, holding her head so that it wouldn't roll unnecessarily. And so, they started their journey home.

When Skye woke up, the first thing she noticed was that she was laying on a cold and hard surface. She opened her eyes, coming face-to-face with a familiar face.

Lydia's concerned eyes started back at her own, and a gasp left the strawberry blondes mouth when she saw that Skye had woken up.

"Skye! How are you feeling?"

Skye propped herself up on her elbows and looked around. On the desk next to the one she was on, was a dark haired teenage boy. He was still unconscious, but a troubled expression was visible on his face.

"I'm feeling...... normal?"

Lydia handed Skye a cup of water and she took a few sips before placing it next to her. She swung her legs off the desk so that she was simply sitting on it now.

The more she looked around the place, she realised she was at Scott's work place, the animal clinic. Deaton, Scott's boss, walked through the door and towards the boy.

"How's he doing?" Lydia asked.

"His heart rate is alarmingly high."

Lydia placed the back of her hand against the boys cheek. "He's a lot warmer now."

"Wait, wait, wait." Skye interrupted. "Who is that?"

Lydia and Deaton shared a look. The latter spoke up. "....... It's Derek."

Skye's eyes widened and she turned her head to look at Derek once more. "What happened in the church?"

The memory of what had happened in the church between her and Raina came back like a wave, crashing against her head.

"Lydia, I'm going to try something." Deaton said. "I want you to keep holding his hand, if that's okay."

Lydia nodded and held Derek's hand. Whilst Deaton sliced Derek's torso with a scalpel, Skye's attention was focused on the cup of water that had began to shake.

"That looks like it healed really fast." Lydia said, shocked.

"Unusually fast." Deaton agreed.

Skye grabbed the cup with both hands, trying to mask what was happening. Luckily, Deaton and Lydia were occupied to notice the shaking.

"What does it mean?"

"I'm not sure..." replied Deaton. "Let's try something else. Grab me a five milliliter syringe– top drawer."

Before Lydia could do anything, Derek woke up. Skye slid off the desk and stood next to the strawberry blonde.

"Derek...?"

"Derek, are you all right?" Deaton asked.

Derek bolted up and knocked Deaton, along with Lydia out. When he saw Skye, he stopped and recognition flooded his eyes.

"Jiaying?"

"I'm Skye." Skye said warily. The animal clinic started to shake more thoroughly, causing glass bottles and beakers and other equipment to fall from their shelves, shattering upon impact with the floor.

"What are you doing?!" Derek shouted, shielding himself from the flying objects.

"I don't know!" Skye shouted back, flinching when the window shattered, glass slicing her cheek and forehead.

Derek grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the clinic, away from the destruction.
