Sun is probably very self conscious about his voice.

So many people are constantly going "oh, yeah Suns voice is so loud and annoying," it'd be a miracle if he isn't at least a little bit self conscious.

Like, in that one video on Circus Baby and Glamrock Freddy's show they kept telling him that he was screaming and stuff and he was like "no, this is my normal speech tone."

Plus the other animatronics have said in other videos that he's very loud and overbearing, which he can be, but they never really say that to his face. They just kind of say it when they think he won't hear.

So just imagine him deciding to catch up on what's going on with everyone else, and he just gets really sad because almost all of them have said something about wanting to avoid him and about how annoying he is, because of how loud he is.

And he gets them not wanting to deal with Eclipse, he doesn't want to deal with Eclipse. But they've made it seem less because of Eclipse and more because he's annoying since he's loud.

So he starts becoming more upset with how his voice box sounds, because it's made to be loud, and it's one of the main reasons he's so overbearing. Maybe he gets uncomfortable talking, thinking he'll scare people off.

Maybe he gets someone else to mess with his voice box to try and see if they can get it to dial down the screaming.

Probably not Moon because Sun because he doesn't want to bother his brother. Maybe Monty, because they probably understand not liking some part of themselves, what with dysphoria.

He just tries to make himself as non aggravating as possible in the hopes that he can get people to like him better. And to ease how self conscious some of their comments have made him.

Because he knows that it's not their fault he's made like this, he figures that he can get them to like him better again if he changes a few small parts of himself, starting with his voice.

Like he tries to stop rambling so much. Or he tries to talk quieter.

And maybe he does get his voice box recalibrated or something (I don't know robots well, but I think that that's the right word word). One day Moon goes to talk to Sun after not seeing him all of the afternoon before and Sun's voice is almost completely different.

Like, he's quieter, more soft spoken, and Moon's like, "uhh what?"

And Sun gets very proud and excited about it bouncing around from happiness. He's like do ya like it brother? I figured you would 'cause you don't like loud things either and so on so forth.

And Moons just like you didn't need to change your whole voice because of that though. He's freaking out thinking that he upset Sun about his voice so badly that he went and had it changed.

And then Sun explains to him that no it wasn't just him and this whole thing starts a very angsty conversation about how Sun didn't need to change himself to get others to like him (and he doesn't).
