RECAP FROM CHAPTER 5:
"If this was fates way of setting us up to meet again, which I'm desperately hoping it was, I was welcoming it with open arms. Until then Ava."
HARRY'S POV:
Airports. One word, made of eight letters, that could simply make me cringe at the sound of it being spoken. After a long flight from California to London, my jet had finally landed at Heathrow airport and I was about to get off.
On the other side of the sliding glass doors, a thousand or more fans awaited for me. You would think that I would be used to this many people in one place, and in a way I am. I'm used to the people being there, but not the screams coming from them and the continuous flashing coming from their cellphones. To be honest I am very self conscious. I don't think many people believe me when I say this, but it's the truest thing. Who wouldn't be when there is always people taking your picture? Do I look bad? Can you see that pimple? Do I look fat? These are some of the things that constantly circle my brain when I'm in these types of situations.
I made it through the airport to the car that was waiting for me without a problem. Ben threw my bags into the trunk while I took a seat in the back. As soon as I sat down, the exhaustion from traveling hit me like a ton of bricks. God, I need some sleep. I rubbed my hand over my face in order to try and help get rid of the exhaustion but it barely helped. I leaned my head back against the head rest and vowed that I would just shut my eyes until we reached my house. My quick eye relaxation turned into a deep sleep as I drifted into oblivion dreaming about my lovely pillow I would soon be reunited with and also of a lovely girl with beautiful brown eyes.
AVA'S POV:
Airports. Can't travel with them. Cant travel without them. Airports and I have a love/hate relationship. Sometimes were good, most days were not. I have no clue how people can like them. There's always so many people in them and the constant overhead lady on the speaker talking. How doesn't one find them completely and utterly repulsive. I don't know. Today though, seems to be ten times worse today. They're are at least a million girls here today. Over exaggerating a little bit, but seriously a ton. Why? Is there like a convention for horny teenage girls here today? Haha I wish. They don't really affect me except for the fact that it will take me twice as long to maneuver throughout the airport today.
Maybe somebody famous landed here this morning. My question remains unanswered until I see some of the signs the girls are holding up. One reads "1D AF!!!" Others read things among the lines of somebody "rocking them", "Rapunzel, let your hair down", and "Let it grow." Odd, but unique. I'll give them that, and the fact that the "let it grow" part actually made me laugh quite a bit. I had a idea of who these signs and posters were for, but as soon as all the girls seemed to turn their attention to the opposite side of the room near an exit door, everybody started screaming, and a head of long chestnut curls caught my eye, my suspicions were confirmed true. Harry Styles, A.K.A. cafe boy was in town.
Wow. Um so sorry about the six month wait for an update. Hey!! That rhymed , but still again so sorry!! :)
