It was the first day of school.
Kai was nervous to say the least, he wanted to go to school with Mimi but Mark didn't care. He only send him, it upsets him and it's making him more nervous.
Mark gave him a notebook so he can use it to communicate with his classmates and teacher.
It was gonna be extra hard for him because he entered the school during mid semester.
Before he entered the school, he takes a deep breath, exhale and then he stepped into his new school life for the first time.

The prefect there helped Kai to go to the principal's room. His name is Yuta and he was only two years older than him.
Yuta knocked the principal's door and waited for the principal to let them in.
When they walked in, Kai's hands started to cool a bit because he was very nervous and the principal looked scary to him. He looked like Louis when his grumpy.
" Hello there, you must be the new student. You're Kai right? ", Kai hesitantly nods at him.
He stood up and walks to him ( btw, Yuta already left so there was only him and Kai left ).
" I have been notified that you're mute and you can't really talk. But no need to worry, I've already told the teachers about it so they'll know what to expect "
Kai only sat there in silence listening to him. His heart was still beating pretty fast but it had calmed down a bit.
" Now, here's a book full of rules of our school and I hope you'll read it. If you don't have any more questions, I'll just call your teacher to come get you and bring you to class. okay? "

After that, she holds his hand and brought him to the staffroom to take the class schedule.

Kai waited outside, his heart started to beat faster again.
He started fidgeting with his fingers due to his nervousness.
Before he could do anything else, he heard Ms. Yoshihiro calling his name. He started to get more scared.
When he entered the class, all eyes were on him. Ms. Yoshihiro pulled him to stand at the center of the class so everyone can see him. The kids were whispering to each other when they saw him, mostly talking about his skin color. he was the only dark skinned boy at the school so a lot of people would stare at him.
" Everyone, this is your new classmate. His name is Kai Lee, you can all call him Kai. Please treat him with respect, alright? "
