Neteyams pov/
After I helped tsireya get sara to sleep i was so exhausted so i just went to my room and i saw a note on the bed, i sat down on my bed and picked up the note, it said

When your eyes met mine,
My soul pointed at you and whispered to my heart "Him.. "
And thus i knew my heart belongs to you
I love you

(Lo'ak told aonung the poem because he remembered seeing it in a book)
I looked at the bottom of the note to see who it was from and I could feel my face heating up, it was from aonung. I put the note in my pocket and grabbed a piece of paper and a pen and wrote a note back. It said '
i saw your note and i feel the same way, plus i'm pretty sure that's a poem from lo'aks old book'
I folded up the paper and put it on his bed and went back to my bed, I got my book out and started reading it. About an hour later the door opened and aonung went and sat on his bed. When I looked up from my book I saw him reading the note and he looked up at me. "You actually do? " he asked me "mhm" i said. "Well umm, would you like to be my boyfriend? " he asked as he put the note back on his bed. "Of course dumb dumb" I said as I put my book down. I got tackled with a hug which caused me to laugh a bit but I hugged back. “By the way you were right, lo’ak told me i should write the poem”  he said witch made us both laugh

Neteyams pov/
It's been 3 months since me and aonung have gotten together and i'm pretty happy about it. Tuks owl passed away 2 months ago so she was pretty upset. To make her feel better lo’ak and aonung literally had a little funeral for it in the backyard before we went on patrol to make sure nothing needs fixed. As I was in the kitchen helping tsireya make food rotxo, aonung, and lo'ak burst through the front door. "WE SAW A HELLA COPTER! " lo'ak shouted. "We need to make a sign on the roof so they can find us" rotxo said a lot calmer than lo'ak "alright I'll ask spider sinse the rest of us are busy and you guys should rest" I said as I walked to where spider was. "Spider, I need you to put a sign on the roof, I was told there's a helicopter" "alright" he said as he got up and walked away.
(Time skip/the next day)

Aonungs pov/
I walked to the room after we told neteyam and tsireya what happened, I layed down on my bed and ended up falling asleep. I'm not sure how long i was asleep but I was woken up by neteyam saying it's time for dinner, we got up and walked to the kitchen. "Hey hey tomorrow is your turn to watch Sara by the way" tsireya said. "Alright" neteyam said back. "By the way I put an S.O.S sign on the roof yesterday" "thanks spider" "oh also tey tuk said she saw a helicopter fly over our house last night so we might be safe soon" rotxo said. "Hold up, YOU GUYS LEFT ME SLEEP FOR A WHOLE DAY!? " I asked. Tuk and Lizzy just started laughing. After breakfast we walked back to our rooms. Me and neteyam laid down on my bed and cuddled. "I can't believe we'll be safe soon, '' neteyam said. "I know. To be honest though I'm also glad you didn't reject me" "me reject you? It may not have been obvious but I was dying to be with you"
