" I GOT YOU!!"
These were the words I was abruptly woken with. I grumpily lift my head to see what could be SO important to disturb my beautiful sleep. I open my eyes to see the one, the only, Louis Tomlinson. Also known as the world's loudest boy. Him and my brother, Niall were intently playing a game of tag around the living room couch. I silently laughed to myself at the sight of two grown men running around and giggling just like they did 12 years ago.
They have been best friends for as long as I can remember. I can't recall a time when Louis wasn't a part our lives. Even though Louis is Niall's best friend, he still treats me like his friend too. Niall is 1 year younger then me and Louis is 1 year older than me. Niall's 19, I'm 20, Louis' 21. Me and Niall originally lived in Ireland, but when I was 2, and he was 1, we moved to Manchester for my father's new job. My mum has told us the story of the day we moved in a million times.
***Flashback***
" Tell me again." I begged.
" I've already told you a thousand times!" My mother retorted.
" Then I guess you'll have to tell me a thousand and one times." I smiled watching the look on her face as she thought about what I just said.
" Okay...." She sighed.
" Well, we had just started to unpack when a toddling 3 year old who could barely even talk toddled over and politely tapped my leg. I remember looking at him and wondering who's he was and where he came from. Then, he asked me ' Help?' ." She paused, smiling at the memory. " A few moments later, Niall came crawling in, looking at Louis like he just sprouted mushrooms out of his nose! Thankfully, Louis' mum came running over to rescue him before I called the police to report a found child! After that day, They were inseparable-"
" And the rest is history!" I interjected finishing her sentence.
I smiled, remembering the last time she had told me the story. I quickly got up and got ready for the day, dressing in a pair of jeans and maroon T-shirt. I look in the mirror of the bathroom and try to decide what I'm going to do with my hair, when I hear two deep voices.
" Now, watch as we see the teenage girl in her natural habitat, the bathroom. Ever wondered why your sister takes so long in the mornings? Now we watch and wait for the answer to the question that has boggled scientists' minds for years." Niall says holding his hand near his mouth as if he is holding an imaginary microphone.
I roll my eyes as they Ooooooh and Ahhhhhhh as I continue to do my hair, throwing it into a messy bun, surrendering to my bad hair day.
I turn to them, and laugh at their fake moustaches badly glued on with some Elmer's school glue.
" Nice look." I joke.
" All in a day's work, mam." Louis says in a very bad cowboy accent.
I chuckle and walk past them into the living room where I sit down and continue to channel search for anything good on.
I yell in excitement as I find something. " Skins is on!" I yell to the boys as they immediately start running to watch the show.
We sit for the rest of the hour to watch the show. immediately after it's over, Niall yells, " THANK GOD!! I've had to go pee since halfway through the damn thing!" I chuckle as I turn my direction to Louis as he reaches for the remote.
" NOPE!!" I yell, running away with the remote as he chases me trying to get it back. I can hear him laughing as we run around the room like little kids.
It's times like these that almost make me wish he wasn't my brothers best friend, then, maybe we'd have a chance.
