Prologue

Magic, the very element that runs this world. Everyone in this world can use magic to move objects, morph them into anything they like, conjure anything they want, or even, if they are one of the select few, bend and use an element to their own will. In this world, people are born with or without an affinity to magic. But not having an affinity for magic doesn't mean that you can't use it. With the help of relics, artifacts, curses, and blessings, a person who is unable to bend magic to their will can also use it. However, the difference between a person who can bend magic to their will and a person who can't is like comparing the swimming ability of humans to that of fish. A human might be able to use different tools and equipment to imitate a fish's swimming, but at the end of the day, it's still just imitation.

Our story begins with Eunoia Lydelight, a young member of the prestigious Lydelight family. For generations, the Lydelight family has been renowned for their mastery of light magic, which they use to heal the sick, protect the innocent, and maintain peace in their community. They stand as the beacon that shines the brightest in times of need.

From a young age, Eunoia was raised with the expectation that he would follow in the footsteps of his family and become a powerful light magic user. However, as Eunoia began to develop his abilities, they discovered something shocking: he possessed a natural affinity for dark magic.

Despite His family's insistence on the superiority of light magic, Eunoia found Himself drawn to the power and intensity of the darkness, And no natural talent for the light. However, His family would not tolerate such a thing. They forbade Eunoia from exploring His darker tendencies, insisting that he focus solely on light magic. Even if their decision goes against fate, they're not willing to risk damaging the family name.

Despite His efforts, Eunoia faces constant discrimination and rejection from His family. And when the time came,The time when he's tasked to pick a University in the kingdom he chose the UOA(university of alchemist) , the top alchemy school in their kingdom.But when the time came he was prohibited to use the name Lydelight, as a dark user brings disgrace to a family of light users. Eunoia is forced to conceal his true nature, living in the hatred of his family for disregarding his talent and forcing him to live in fear of being discovered. Came a hunger to stand on top of everyone and prove himself to his family.
