Shying from the Truth

~ Third person P.O.V.~

After that surprising announcement, Amber had run up to their dorm. Léah had followed even though Morgan wanted to, saying that Léah already knew and that Morgan needed to hear it.

"Fine, I'll stay here."

"So I'm guessing that everyone wants to know what Amber said?"

"YES!!" Basically everybody in the common room.

"She said Morgan!"

"No way!" (Random Hufflepuff)

"Yes way!"

"I knew it!" (Lucas)

-Meanwhile, in the girls dorm.-

"Amber?"

"What?"

"Emerald probably going to tell everyone."

"I know."

"Do you want me to do anything?"

"No, just tell me if anybody comes comes up to talk to me."

"Sure."

Suddenly the girl's heard someone steps on the stairs. And then that person knocking on the door.

"Can I come in." (Morgan)

"Can I let her in?"

"Fine."

"Yes, you can come in, Morgan."

"K, thanks."

Morgan then walks in and is flabbergasted by Amber's state.

"I'm going to leave you to talk."

"Okay, so are we going to talk about this or do you just want me to sit here in silence?"

"We'll talk, but only if you tell exactly how you felt when you heard."

"Well, mainly happy, but also a bit surprised."

"Happy? Why?"

"You are so oblivious, aren't you?"

"What do you mean?"

"I've liked you for months, Amber!"

"What!?"

"This is what I mean, Léah had realized it immediately saying it was really obvious, so I thought that you at least suspected it."

"I had no idea, also I told Léah right from the beginning. Which was in second year."

"That matchmaker! I told her to stop trying to get couples together weeks ago."

"Haha, but you know, I thought it's was obvious too. I conclusion, we are both as oblivious as brick walls."

Outside the dorm Léah had her phone out and was recording the conversation. As she was there she thought "kiss already, I didn't do all this work for it to fail".

Suddenly Morgan got closer to Amber and the latter stood up as Morgan wiped the tears off the taller girl's face.

Then without warning the smaller girl got up up on her tippy-toes to be level with Amber, blushing profusely. Then she kissed her. Amber's eyes flew open in surprise then, after a second, she closed them and kissed her back.

Léah then stopped recording and went down the stairs with a look of triumph on her face.

Slowly and reluctantly the girls broke apart for air.

"That was-" (Morgan)

"Amazing."

"And it all happened because of me."

"As if!"

"I kissed you first!"

"Wait... Why are we fighting about this?"

"I have no idea!"

"So, do we consider, us, like official?"

"Well not quite. Amber, will you be my girlfriend?"

"Of course!"
