Chapter 3: No More Young Master

Without further ado, butler Tom wasted no time and called the police.

Butler: Sir, I want to report a prisoner runaway.

Butler: A man called Stefan Collins and his friends Kade Babcock and Roger Sutherland escaped from jail.

Police: Sir, the people you're talking about are in jail for some years still. Are you sure you're not mistaking them with someone else?

Butler: Check the surveillance cameras. They are gone from your place.

Butler: I am not mistaking them with other people. I know exactly who broke out of jail.

Police: I get it. I'll be back in a second, sir.

He checked the surveillance cameras on his laptop and figured out that butler Tom was telling the truth.

Police: He called back. Turns out you're right. They aren't in prison anymore.

Police: We will track them right away.

Butler: Thank you. Please let us know if you catch them.

He hung up and the maid spoke.

Maid: Tom, what did the police say?

Butler: They said they will find him before our masters return from their vacation.

Maid: I feel I'm getting the short end of the stick.

Maid: Stefan scolded me before. Once for accidentally spilling pudding sauce on his clothes when I tried to put out food on the table.

Maid: He made me pay for his stupid clothes by forcing me to find a new one of the same type.

Maid: If not in 3 days, he would have fired me.

Maid: Another time for making me polish his "dirty shoes" in front of others because it wasn't shiny enough.

Butler: He scolded me too before. The time when he brought back many items from France, and I wasn't able to carry everything back inside.

Butler: He told me off when I dropped his things on the ground by accident.

Butler: He was disrespectful towards everyone except to his parents.

Butler: He took advantage of his family's name and ruined everything.

Butler: I haven't forgotten how he made his parents fire the man who used to be a worker here.

Maid: You mean Mr. Chilton? The one who allegedly ruined his shower at his party once?

Maid: He did nothing wrong. Stefan is still the same conniving person.

Butler: Exactly. But we should be grateful to our current masters. They treat us much better.

Maid: I'm going to prepare the food and set the table with everyone else. It's almost lunch time and I think everyone is hungry.

The maid was then seen in the kitchen washing the dishes and everything was peaceful at first until she heard footsteps coming closer. She looked up at first seeing no one around and then got back to washing the dishes. She heard the footsteps again. When she wasn't looking, Stefan was right behind her, watching her with a creepy expression.

Stefan: I see you are very slow on washing the dishes, aren't you?

His sudden high pitched voice scared her half to death. She slowly turned around and saw him. She put her hands over her hand, looking very horrified.

Maid: How did you get inside? Tom told you to go away. She threw the sponge in the kitchen sink and tried to run away.

Stefan: He raised his voice. Do not run away from me, Beth! I'm still the master of this house!

Stefan: I always have the keys to my home, and you can't stop me.

Maid: You're not the owner of this house anymore! Everyone always feared and hated you!

Maid: Hugo is more worthy of a master than you.

Stefan: I will get rid of that brainless Hugo once I lay my hands on him!

Stefan: Maybe then you will be reminded of my dominion.

Maid: No, I won't! You deserve to have Satan drag your heels down to hell.

Stefan: Shut up, beth! You were never allowed to defy me!

He approached Beth and took out a knife from his pocket and placed it close to her neck.

Stefan: I'm still in charge, whether you think I am or not.

Stefan: That means you will still show me and my friends the necessary respect and attention.

Maid: HELP! PLEASE! NO!

For a split second later, Stefan simply had vanished. Turns out, it was all in her imagination. A minute later, the butler came into the hallway to find Beth paralyzed in shock. She could barely speak or move.

Butler: Beth, what happened?! Speak to me!

Maid: Stefan got inside and threatened me. He was right here... She fainted.

Beth was put into bed because she needed to rest after experiencing something so horrible and Tom went to check everywhere around the house but found no trace of Stefan.

Butler: Stefan, I know you're inside! Come out and confront me while you can!

Butler: You will pay for hurting Beth!

But no one was around and Stefan didn't actually get inside the house since he was only part of Beth's illusion. A servant named Eric spoke up.

Eric: Tom, did you lose anything?

Butler: No, I was just absentminded. I'll go check on Beth.

Eric: I heard she didn't feel well.

Eric: But Tom, you shouldn't worry much. It's nice Stefan no longer rules over us.

Butler: But something is off in this house, Eric. Beth said she saw Stefan and fainted.

Tom: Unfortunately, he's out of prison. What if he's still around here?

Eric: Ha! Impossible. If he was, I would beat his face with a baseball bat.

Eric: But I have to congratulate you for making him eat his words. You're the first person who stood up to his ass.

Tom: Thanks, I had to. I couldn't let him get inside.

Eric: With that being said, we should celebrate.

Tom: Celebrate? What do you mean?

Eric: I say we should do a party dance!

Tom: Are you sure that's a good idea? What if Stefan appears while we dance?

Eric: He won't. You said he can't come back.

Eric: Now somebody bring on the music!

Every other servant started to dance while Just Dance By Lady Gaga song was playing. They all danced simultaneously and followed the beat whenever it changed.

Eric: That's what I'm talking about! A little more fun in this household once in a while isn't so bad.

Tom: Yeah, guess Mr. and Mrs. Rockefeller don't mind at all!
