Chapter 5: The Fight

Christa and Hugo were still on their double date with Braxton and Dorothy. They shared personal details about their life after such a long time of not getting acquainted. Hugo humbly spoke about his promotion at work and how his sons are doing in school.

Braxton: Nice to hear you got promoted! You're a hard worker and an amazing father, bro!

Hugo: Thanks, Braxton. I'm happy to hear that you helped Dorothy find a job.

Hugo: She really deserved a boyfriend like you...Hope you propose to her one day!

Braxton: Haha...that moment can wait! But I definitely will over time.

Dorothy was smiling the whole time while the guys talked to each other. She seemed a lot more cheerful and relaxed since she's no longer around Kade. After a long while of juggling all sorts of conversations, Hugo realized that he didn't have his wallet in his pocket. He decided to go back to his car to retrieve it.

Hugo: Damn it...I don't have my wallet inside my pocket.

Hugo: I should go back to my car to get it...

Braxton: I'll come with you...I also left my phone inside my car...

They both got up and walked out of the restaurant. However, as soon as they were walking back to the parking lot, Stefan and his friends were behind them. Stefan was extremely angry and ready to confront Hugo after all these years.

Stefan: Fools! You thought we wouldn't come back for you, didn't you?

Hugo and Braxton turned around and they were horrified to see the villains close to them. Apparently, they found out the location of the restaurant they were at and stalked them.

Stefan: Especially you...Hugo Rockefeller!

Stefan: You took everything away from me...Especially Christa and my only son!

Hugo: He managed to speak up. You had no right to escape...Your ass still belongs in jail!

Hugo: Brady wouldn't want anything to do with you...You haunted him in his dreams!

Kade: You're not worthy to be his dad, Hugo!

Kade: Brady must be so sad once he learns he's raised by the man who betrayed his real dad!

Roger: Don't think we don't know you changed his last name and brainwashed everyone!

Braxton: Wow...Been years and you nitwits still can't take a hint, huh?

Braxton: You guys were at fault first and you still can't admit the man you're worshiping is a f**king psycho!

Stefan: Towards Braxton. You certainly have the balls to defend this traitor despite everything he's done to me!

He got closer and they had a fist fight. Kade and Rogers were trying to beat up Braxton while Stefan was trying to beat up Hugo on his own. He punched Hugo so hard in the gut first, but Hugo quickly got up and smacked him so hard on the head and knocked him to the ground. Shortly afterwards, the police arrived and found Stefan, Kade, and Roger so they could bring them back to prison.

Police: He held out his gun and said. Hands up in the air or else I'll shoot!

The police handcuffed the villains and escorted them at the back of their car. But before being taken away by the police, Stefan gave one last warning of words to Hugo.

Stefan: This isn't over, Hugo! No matter what you do, you can't keep me away from Brady!

They finally head back to the restaurant where Christa and Dorothy were waiting for him.

Hugo: We're back. We can finally go after I pay the bill.

Christa: What took you guys so long?

Hugo: Stefan and his friends were around...

Hugo: We fought them and the police are taking them back to prison.

Dorothy: Really? Thank god...I'm glad I didn't have to face my ex like you did.

Back at home, Hugo was sitting in his room thinking about the fight between him and Stefan. He never wanted that bastard to get anywhere close to Brady and his own son Brennan.

Hugo: He thought to himself. That asshole ruined our date...He better not get close to us anymore...

Hugo: He said to himself. Especially Brady...Poor boy has already been through so much sh*t because of him.

The next day at school was normal for Brady while he was sitting in class listening to his anatomy teacher teach. His thoughts about the class were empty considering the fact that he felt weird being at Keeran's house the other day.

Brady: He thought to himself. Why do I feel like someone was watching me yesterday at Keeran's house?

Brady: On the inside. Whatever...I shouldn't think too much about it.

Shortly afterwards, class was over.

Anatomy teacher: Midterm on Wednesday! Don't forget to study!

Brady packed his books inside his backpack and headed outside of the classroom to meet up with Keeran and Isaiah. Renee wasn't around waiting for him because her class ended later than his.

Isaiah: Dude, this semester is harder than before...

Keeran: I know right? I recently got a D on my last trig test. Plus I have a midterm coming up this Friday...

Keeran: He looked at Brady. What about you, man? I bet you're killing it in your classes...

Brady: Yeah, I am...I also have a midterm for anatomy this Wednesday.

Isaiah: Seems like we're all stressed...Too bad this isn't a break time for Renee.

However, this moment of peace was about to be ruined by Dylan and his friends. He came over to pick a bone with Brady about Renee.

Dylan: Apparently, it's a good thing Renee doesn't have a "break time" with you all the time considering how pathetic you're making her out to be...

Dylan: I mean what can she expect from worms in the trenches? She should be with guys on top like me...

Brady: Of course it'll always be you barking at the wrong tree, you piece of sh*t.

Brady: If I were you, I would get off of your high horse and throw yourself in the dirt like you don't matter.

Dylan: He got closer to Brady and grabbed him by the collar. Think twice before speaking out of turn with me...

Dylan: He then punched Brady and said. I get sick of people who sink so low to boost their egos!

Keeran: What the f**k, bastard?! How dare you punch Brady like that?!

Brady: He got up and said. Still think I'm a pushover huh? I'm warning you now...I may look chill, but I can undoubtedly put people like you in their places!

He punched Dylan back so hard and busted up his nose. The guys continued to punch each other until some student informed the principal.

Principal: Boys! This is unacceptable behavior...In my office now!

Brady and Dylan were sitting on different seats across from the principal and he looked furious. He had zero tolerance for fighting and demanded one of the guys to speak up.

Principal: Either one of you cares to explain WHY you were both fighting?!

Dylan: Didn't you see he f**king punched and busted my nose so badly?! He started it!

Brady: Responded angrily. You're full of sh*t, man! You insulted Renee and hit me first!

Principal: Enough of cussing in my office! I'm going to have to suspend both of you for fighting!

A few seconds later, Keeran came to the office to defend Brady.

Keeran: Sir...what Brady said was true. Dylan punched him first...

The principal decided to suspend Dylan for an entire month after hearing the truth from Keeran.
